  • “That’s just the hand I’ve been dealt.”
You’ve no doubt heard that saying many times. It implies that you are bound to a certain fate, regardless of intervention.
How much do we accept as fate in our own lives? How much do we chalk our circumstances down to “just the hand we’ve been dealt”?
One of the most powerful things God ever bestowed upon His greatest creation (that’s you ) was free will - the power to choose. The choices we make can lead us down paths that end in death or paths that end in life, and we are the only ones who will have to give an account of the choices we make. The good news is that we can choose to change direction at any time!
In this message, Jean-Pierre Gonneau unpacks the above, as he continues with the “Take It All Back” series.

What a weighty word you brought today JP. It really was excellent and challenged some wrong theology I have been taught over the years regarding generational curse's. I have been grappling with this for a while and it was very good the way you presented it straight from the word. I had an absolute epiphany and 💡 the light bulb moment was significant. I have been questioning a few things about this commonly taught theology and lining it up to the same scriptures you presented to us today but never had the revelation I had today. Thank you for your obedience and for balancing it with learnt behaviours. It does my heart good when leadership comes out boldly declaring what the truth is. My heart is finally settled on a matter I have asked quite a few leaders in the local body to weigh in on the matter regarding generational courses. I needed someone in leadership to either endorse the theology fully or give me the answers that I need. There is nothing worse for me when people sit on the fence regarding certain theology. Bless you and thank you. May the Lord continue to empower you by His Spirit, to bring truth, powerfully to the body . Love in Christ Jess Staude🙌🙌🙌
