You know whats funny about the animated part? One of the creators, Geneva, wanted a cartoon for Tattletail at one point and drew concepts of such on Twitter.
In a way, this paints that little reality perfectly with a wonderful callback to pink elephants.

I'm blown away Coda. Even by your standards of incredible cinematic animations, this by far takes the cake as your most cohesive, lively animated, and beautifully edited project to date! The amount of detail you were able to get out of a simple game like Tattletail is genuinely fantastic, and I have to be honest, I genuinely started freaking out a little bit at the Pink Elephants on Parade reference, SUCH a clever detail and Weretoons did a fantastic job bringing it to life!
A masterpiece for sure, Coda! I really hope you keep it up with these personal music videos, as much as I love your commission work, and I truly LOVE your commission work, Seeing you do personal projects that you are passionate about (And executing them SO WELL) just hits different.

The absolute 90s/early 2000s aesthetic is so amazing in this from the commercial segments to the 2D storyboard-like part!! This song was on repeat for days when I first heard it and the animation really drives home the eerie feeling with these Furby-look alikes!! ❤😊

This has to be my favourite project of yours. You put an absolutely astounding amount of effort into all of this and I must bid you a round of applause. I absolutely LOVED the ending bit where all the mamas were arising from the ground. The effects on that segment are seriously amazing.

I WISH I COULD EXPRESS TO YOU IN WORDS JUST HOW INCREDIBLY. HOW VERY DEARLY I ADORE THIS. THIS IS GENUINELY VERY ARGUABLY THE MOST INCREDIBLE ANIMATION I HAVE SEEN IN YEARS, AND POSSIBLY EVER. Not to mention that I’ve adored Tattletail since I was a wee tot. The composition and effects and the sheer skill in every movement and the *colors* and just Everything is so captivating and well done. I wasn’t expecting the hand-drawn animation bit at all but it complements the flow of the video so well. Huge props to Weretoons. Such an inspiring piece of independent work, it looks like you had a lot of fun putting this together :-) I will definitely be revisiting this regularly throughout the future. Tattletail doesn’t get a lot of love these days so it really is delightful to see such a dedicated little artistic piece for it.
