Valuetainment- The Best Channel for Entrepreneurs
Jack Ma created literally one of the best websites out there! I use Alibaba all the time for my business! Great video! Keep it up!
+CAPITAL SOLUTIONS - Amen - great to hear that! Thanks - Tom
No I actually ship the items out myself which is really annoying. I definitely need to start dropshipping but I'm a little confused as to how I would go about it
Thanks for sharing, just few additional facts:
1- The Chinese government's shares in Alibaba (owned by high range officers).
2- The Japanese invester whom saved Alibaba from bancruptcy at the start stage.
3- Forced intense working hours up to 80 hours, 7 days a week.
4- extremely high stress on work floor
5- Alibaba salary calculation based on commission on sales of factory membership + $400 monthly basic salary.

I really like what you guys are doing with editing , for example when Tom speaks to himself saying it's in Japan. I love it because it shows the raw video , not a bunch of edit together videos to show how perfect you are, you are a human just like me just like everyone on this channel watching this page reading this comment, great job +VALUETAINMENT ! Keep up the inspiring work
+BHappyLoveOthersLeadByExample - Thank you very much for that comment. I KNOW SoftBank is in Japan but just flubbed it when filming. Rather than re-shoot we decided to be "human" and correct it in an entertaining way. Thanks - Tom

Watching Jack Ma be so persistent through transgressions with Alibaba was absolutely amazing. From sitting in a room with about 10 people, to having a company with about 100 people, to more than 10k (I'm sure my number is undershooting incredibly)....is just astonishing. He had to beat out eBay in China, too.
Alex Gowers All of them in China need to thank Deng Xiaoping.
A case study on Google would be much appreciated!
Keep up the great work👌

Hey Tom, loved the video. I think a good topic for another video is Nike. Phil Knight's autobiography Shoe Dog is a fantastic read and it would be great to get your take on the company as it stands today.

+Gappiya - We are ALL part of Valuetainment - but I am HUMBLED to join Patrick after he built the channel from nothing. Appreciate the nice note! Thanks - Tom

Thank you for this. Finally about Jack Ma and Alibaba. great content
+Matthew Kevin Obispo - thanks for that - Tom
Hello Tom!
Just loved this one. I also aspire to become an Entrepreneur. Wanted to read about Alibaba and at that moment you came with your Amazing Case Study!
And don't worry about the Audio, here people at youtube give Constructive Criticism all the way out. :)
Wanted to ask you a serious Question.
These days I see business requires you to have a lot of time invested on Social Media. How do you manage all this? I mean you at PHP hire specialised workers to contribute to it?
Thanks
AB
+Aruj Budhraja - Yes, that is a very good question. The key question is where is your customer? If they spend time on social media then you have to invest in it. You can get interns and low cost assistants to help you with that. But you need to set the strategy and message and be sure that there's quality in your social media out reach. - Tom
Lmao awesome video. The random sound around 5:44 almost scared the life out of me. Love the video
nice video , tq tom , very appreciate
+karttick rajan Thanks - Tom
Thanks for the video. "Solve one problem and do it damn well. Even if its selling biscuits!"

Great to see the success of Jack Ma
Jack Ma is my favourite Entrepreneur and Business leader. Other than #Valuetainment, we will often be sharing things about Jack Ma on #BestYouPRO #EntrepreneurTuesday. Thanks for doing this exceptional case study Tom. Your research shows. You have really captured his story in this one. #CrocodileIntheYangtze
+BestyouPRO - Jack Ma is an incredible guy. I loved doing this case study. Thanks - Tom
I think this is one of the parts of Valuetainment that seperates you from the competitors. Do a case study on Gig economy or peer to peer platforms!!
+Big Lo - I think that's a very interesting idea. I did mention the Gig economy in the Uber case studies. Thanks - Tom
Can you elaborate on the idea, and how it emerged from the traditional model of capitalism. Also, do you have any book recommendations about the gig economy? I'm starting a business with this idea and I want to know more
great video Tom
+eadekolu Thanks, Tom
Hey Tom! Thats really a wonderful case study. I always love your interpretations, all are fresh stuff - no common things.
I have even added you as our mentor in our portfolio! Thanks for everything Tom. I would love to hear more how company like Amazon and Ali Baba manage their staffs.
Do they do micromanagement or macromanagement?
How do they keep the efficiency of human, especially in a big scale?
How does company like Virgin, Ali Baba and Air Asia still keep the worker happy while make them work? How does the relationship between the top executives and the staffs are just like friends - even it is a big company. How do they make sure they are still to be respected when they are acting like friends? And last but not least, how to make sure both parties (Top Executives and normal staffs) doesnt cross the lines?
Up! +Valuetainment
gotta repair my earphone .It was working just before this video
Love this
+Kerrs Opinion Thanks - Tom
Tom 3 weeks before i told you about making case study of google. I hope you will make it.
+Moses Chand - I have it on my list! Thanks - Tom
Great presentation. For the next case, can we get more tactical and practical how to tips that we can apply to our businesses?
+Dao Yang - I think tactical tips is a good idea. Thanks - Tom
ABSOLUTE LEGEND
I feel that sometimes we forget that these great entrepreneurs are human and a have a fun side too
I actually paused the video and Googled Richard Branson. Tom, I can never unsee that haha..

Thank you very much, guys, for all your great work and effort that you put into this channel! Keep it up! You've been making a lot of case studies on new economy/internet/technology companies lately - would you mind mixing it up with some "real economy" cases? Thanks!
+RockerRider - such as? Thanks, Tom
Domino's Pizza, Southwest Airlines, Under Armour, Teledyne, IKEA, Walmart...
Great case study Tom! and interesting case study for the future could be Yahoo or Google.
+Luis Goyzueta - I really like the Yahoo suggestion. Thanks - Tom
Impossible to watch. Yet another video with the audio problem of the sound coming through from only one side of the headphones.
and I though it was my earphones this whole time, i throw them in the bin because of it. lool
You can also listen to it without headphones :)
Music at the end came from both sides :D
impossible would be if it had NO SOUND
+EstonianGodfather - Sorry for that this week - we told the editor. Thanks - Tom

I'd like to see a case study on Verizon... I've been in the tower industry for 17 years and have seen the massive effort they've put Into adding coverage all over the southeast. We've done work for Sprint, T-mobile, AT&T etc but for years and years no one came close to what Verizon was doing.
thanks tom
