I personally exclusively collect Storm’s larger figures and use Figma and Figuarts to make them look even bigger and the fights more epic. Like Storm Sagat vs. Figuarts Ryu.

Imagine if SH Figuarts or Storm Collectibles made Oni. Imagine if Figuarts made the SFV Akuma and if Storm made the classic Akuma.

I have much more fun with Storm, it's sturdy and hard rock solid.

Storm collectibles is soo much better. In fact, Figuarts feels like a cheap toy. However, it`s really a pity that Storm goes for the ridiculous new lion-flower look of SFV. If only Storm figure was made with the classical look...

I’m a huge fan of Storms and SFV version of Akuma/Gouki. I don’t mind the lions mane at all. Don’t get me wrong I will never dislike the nostalgic/classic look either. That being said I just purchased the SHF version today and I’ve owned the Storm version for months now. Theirs no question about it Storms taking the cake on this comparison but I still do like both figures and I think with a little customizing and the right tamashi effects pieces the SHF figure could be a very fun figure to display!

Just personal opinion and don't disagree with anyone that feels differently, it's all about what appeals to us as individuals but I feel like all of my storm figures crush their shf counterparts, to the point I'm not buying anything sf related from shf anymore. The build quality, sculpt, and how they feel in hand is just so much better(to me) that it's not even close but like I said I'm not going to disagree with anyone that feels the opposite because all that matters is how you feel about what you collect. Never let anyone try to dictate to you how you should feel.

Idk, i always choose figuarts, for durability, articulation, the classic concept look, overall I can really have fun and get it to pose EASILY in omage of its maximum range of articulation. And also it's in scale with revoltech marvel figures so i can do mvc stuff unlike storm. Well, while you guys keep choosing storm over figuarts is still an advantage for me cuz now figuarts is cheaper.

SHF may be my favorite line, but there's no way that they beat Storm Collectibles level of quality when it comes to their Street Fighter line. The design of the new Akuma may be a little ugly, yeah. Yet the overall feel, detail and articulation of SC's Akuma, beats SHF's.

Great video man. Couldn't agree more. The storm collectibles Akuma is one of my favorite figures in my collection at the moment. But I'm pretty fond of all of the storm Street fighter figures. The thing about the SH figure arts figure that gets me though is that plastic that the use just makes it look like a very cheap toy more than a collectible. For the price point they charge for those figures it just looks too generic to me. I can't warrant spending that money on that figure. Great video though. Keep up the good work.

Cool comparison of the incomparable, given the difference in scale. Anyway, I think you're too kind to SHF Gouki. As compared to the earlier SHF release of street fighter, I do noticed some decrease in standard. Those you've mentioned aside, there is a flow at Gouki's arm where it detaches itself too easily when fiddling. Being a fans of Gouki, I still like SHF Gouki.
