This is footage of the firework display my fiancĂ© and I put on for the Red River Valley Speedway during their final race on June 22nd! Without her help I wouldnât have been able to pull this off in time. She fused a rack faster than I did (for the first time ever lol). Everything you see in the display was hand fired by me, I chose not to use a firing system as they can be very unreliable; just my opinion. The firework display was filmed by my fiancĂ©. There was a shell from a NOAB that detonated about 4 feet away from me during this display, everything was ok and I walked away with no injuries. I would like to give a BIG THANK YOU to John, Dino, & Nathaniel, for all their help in making this display a memorable one and for providing the amazing products seen in this display!

That finale was beautiful. I'm doing my very first backyard show this July 4th because i was inspired by of all the amazing homemade pyro videos on youtube. Seeing all the time, effort, and money that goes into these things is awesome.

Hey man, Iâm not trying to tell you how to do your pyro but I have a few tips for you. Instead of setting your cakes up in a v like you did, try making 2 banks of them about 30-40 feet apart. Light one cake on one bank then while that is burning walk over to the other bank and light another cake as the finale of the previous cake starts. I have a video on my channel where I use this method. Itâs called 2016 firework show number two setup. I believe this method is safer and more reliable than what you are doing, but once again Iâm not telling you right from wrong.
This is possibly the best idea Iâve ever heard and canât believe I didnât think of this lol WAY safer!!! Thank you so much for the tip, please be sure to check out my 4th Display I will use this method and give you a shoutout!!! Thanks again man!

Hand lighting is so much fun, timing can be tricky but you nailed it great show! Ive had a few short rounds cook off around chest/head height myself, i usually try and turn my back after i light just in case. Have a safe 4th bro.

I am familiar with fusing mortar racks however this is the first time I have seen seen the braiding technique you used what is the benefit of braiding the mortar shells the way that you did? And can you further explain the process?
Yes, it is a great method to use if you are in a hurry to fuse your racks. Connect all the green fuses together from the shells and then weave the fast fuse in between them all to pull them together. If using zip ties, this can save you 10-15 mins

It's cool to see this video because I live in Fargo as well. One question, how do you compete with all the other fireworks going off around town? I do realize that you guys probably have a much bigger budget to work with but I'm amazed at how many fireworks are going off. Just from my second story apartment balcony the views of all the fireworks is incredible. So I just wonder how you differentiate yourselves and stand out. Thanks

Do you ever use firing systems or always handlight?? Like the other comments state, handlighting is half the fun of the show for me. The setup and handlighting complete it. I donât see any satisfaction in my shows of sitting down and pushing buttons. Other than being further away for safety of course!
