Fucking love these guys. They are also my mom's favorite band, I first showed them to her around 04/05 and she immediately loved them. Would love to see them live as well but I don't think they would ever come to my city too

Ultimate professionals. No reliance on bling or makeup or shock value. Just straight up masterful and honest music. They sort of sat in the background of the early 00’s electropop/futurepop scene but their music has far more staying power than the “major” bands, who all sound outdated now. Side note, MIAB sounds like a William Gibson novel set to music 🙂
Stefan has so much conviction it wells up tears when I hear him sing. One of my favorite performances. Thank you for the upload!

Really amazing live, after all this years i still have big admiration for MIAB, unique sound and different from other bands on the scene (i think on Futurepop genre). After this period album RETRO (2010) i think that Stefan lost some inspiration but still they are creating great music. Dreamweb will forever stay my favorite album by them, total masterpiece.
They lost connection to Stefan herwig and dependent records. Big business is always a two sided coin.
