Decathlon Tamahoo Freeride 500 inflatable Windsurf Board SUP Kriegersee 1-2bft Gaastra Cosmic 8.5

Test and maiden Windsurf Trip of my new inflatable Decathlon Tamahoo Freeride 500 Windsurf Board on a local pond at 1-2bft under the Gaastra Cosmic 8.5sqm sail (cambers removed).
Footage shows the assembly (0:36) and disassembly (25:04) of the board, change of tuttle box fins while the finbox is installed (20:28), installation of the centerboard (9:32), SUP-paddling (6:03) and windsurfing (12:33).
The footstraps are DYI. You might have already seen them in my other videos (e.g. • Windsurf RacingStraps ... ). I like them better than the conventional ones. See my other videos if you are interested in their specifications on / @badenwindsurf7110 .
Conclusion: The board is fine for paddling as a SUP. In the conditions of 1-2bft the board is ok for windsurfing if the centreboard is installed. Without it is hard not to loose height. Its behaviour in more windy conditions and its planing/gliding will be assessed soon in another video.

@@capt.cologne6571 Zu den Schlaufen hatte ich schon im Begleittext geschrieben. Diese sind mein Eigenbau und ich habe die auf allen meinen Brettern, weil ich die viel besser finde als herkoemmliche Schlaufen. Die Originalen, die beim Brett dabei waren, habe ich nicht installiert. Dies ist die aktuelle Version des Bretts. Es fuehlt sich ganz gut an, aber fuer mich nur eine Notloesung, z.B. wenn ich kein normales Brett mit auf Reisen nehmen kann. Oder wenn ich ein zweites Brett dabei haben will fuer meine Frau.

@@badenwindsurf7110 Hey danke für die Antwort, habe das mit den Schlaufen übersehen.
Ich habe bereits auf dem STX 280 gestanden und fand's für ein Windsup sehr passabel. Zumindest bei dem wenigen Wind den wir auf dem See haben. Nun wollte ich mir ein weniger voluminöses Brett zulegen und habe für knapp unter 400€ im Sale zugeschlagen. Das Konzept sieht gescheit aus, alle Features die ein modernes Windsup haben sollte sind zumindest da. Mal sehen wie es sich anfühlt. Vor allem die Steifigkeit wird mich bei Decathlon interessieren.
Kleiner Hinweis zu deinem Brett, ich würde Dir ein Mastfuß mit kardangelenk empfehlen, sonst ist die Gefahr da dass Du Dir die Gewindeaufnahme zerschießt.
