SFO/KSFO San Francisco, CA USA June 1996 several departures from Runway 1R 1) United DC-10-10 N1815U 2) 727-200 N7290U 3) TWA L-1011 N11005 4) Canadien 737-200 C-GCPU 5) United 757-200 N554UA. Sorry you have to sit though an 11 minute video but it's tough to edit some of these. Hi-8mm film from the now closed Millbrae Ave Airpark. It was tough on the audio as each jet would overshadow the next in noise. This short 11minute "clip" is what I termed, the "SFO Merry-go-round", as sometimes there could be 15 jets in line as they followed each other in the circle to 1R, and could take 30 minutes to launch them all.
