Pretty hike. Editing in more extreme close ups of the waterfalls, bugs, plants, your feet walking on the various terrains of the trial is always nice to watch. Basically, I think we enjoy being able to experience the entirety of trail with you. As suggested, I will watch another video or 3. It's getting cold here in MI. That trail is beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Those are great suggestions and I will pay more attention to those things, thank you. I appreciate your comments and taking the time to watch, have a great day.
@@ScottValler I saw feet, falls, flames, and flight in other recent videos. As far as experiencing the trail... you probably walk the trail quietly, looking at the ground. Yes? As boring as that sounds, it can add great content... and view minutes, since everyone watches at 2x speed. Anything that catches your eye, will catch ours also. That said, I like your videos. I will opt in. Makes me want to go for a hike.
Hi Joseph, yes, here is a great link to an interactive map: bigsurtrailmap.net/interactivemap.html?mode=trailmap&latlon=36.0898,-121.5651&zoom=10&control=1 for the Kirk Creek Trail. This site has interactive trail maps for that area, plus you can download the GPX file and load it into your favorite GPS or GPS application. Here is the AllTrails link also: www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/kirk-creek-campground-to-vicente-flat-trail
My favorite is the Kirk Creek Trail and then several south of there like Cruickshank and Salmon Creek. I'd pretty much do most of the primary trails running up from the coast as that whole area is really nice.
@@ScottValler thanks for the tip, I was looking at Jack's Cabin trail on all trails as a possibility. If you get a chance, feel free to view my channel "Fat Guy and His Backpack. Still very new at this youtube thing but any tip would be great. Oh, and subscribe :) Sorry my wife and friends get a kick out of me saying that now
like the video. How many of those slugs did you come across?
There were a handful in that area. Didn't really see them anywhere else.
