Just had this issue with my boat trailer drum brake on one side. Could it be possible to do this without removing the shoes? I am just lazy. I learn a lot from this video. Thanks.

You can buy for good results better get the shoes off.

Probably best to replace the cylinder. The brake fluid is probably contaminated with the corrosion, so flush with new is advisable.

Yup the cylinder was torn down, inspected afterwards and the complete brake fluid was replaced.

@@dailyhandsdiy please advise that can I use a normal ring spanner or tubular spanner to open that bearing nut?used breaker bar..also what is size of nut in Figo? Also looking for video to replace tie rod.. also suggest about transmission oil though I think manual says transmission oil is life time..do we need to check or change it?? Thank u v much

Bro we actualy use 30 mil socket and a T to open the hub nut. ring spanner is not a good idea. And the transmissions if its a company fit oil then its for a life time till the gear shift becomes harder. If its smooth u dont have to change the oil. And if its drained before.. and replaced with aftermarket oil. u must change it between 30 to 40k kms.
