  • How should men prepare for fatherhood? One organization seems to have the answers. Welcome to Boot Camp for New Dads, where men learn how to own their new role as fathers. Here, soon-to-be dads get a crash course in everything from changing diapers to feeding and burping. Veteran dads serve as guides to rookies, and discuss the hopes and concerns that come along with becoming a parent. The class provides the support that many new dads don’t normally receive, and helps men take the first step into fatherhood with confidence and ease.

      The point is that these soon-to-be dads would find out how to care about their baby anyway. It's better to be prepared. They trust themselves after the camp more. They shrinked the space for future errors. They shared their insecurities with other fathers. It's so important.

What I meant is that we are on top of the food chain and we are animals, but we are so far away from our animalistic instincts, that we can‘t even do the most natural tasks without guidance. I‘m not saying you shouldn‘t be informed about having kids or how to care for them and those dads are amazing, no doubt. I was talking about humanity as whole. Stop being salty

    • @mollybrown8361
      @mollybrown8361 Před 5 lety +1

      Beatorama it’s not their job to. Schools teach you how to find X for you to either use that in the future to work in the field of mathematics and/or pass the required exams at the end of school. These set you up for a good well paying job which means you’ll be able to buy the house in the first play that you need to mortgage for and you’ll have income you will pay tax on. With out education you would need to do the things you have stated.

    • @kalashnikov5038
      @kalashnikov5038 Před 5 lety

      @@mollybrown8361 Finnish schools don't teach that, it's the duty of the government and curriculums to instate a community-like environment where everyone helps rather than a grading system where people who can remember more get awarded more.

  • @TheGranti7a

    What a relief there is acknowledgment for the basic mechanics of needs-based fathering. I can tell you though women are the vessels of culture coming from the domestic environment. The substance of human social currency is rooted in this history. As the bootcamp instructor said, in all the trappings of conditioned malology- dads hold their children facing out toward the world. The graces of human consideration are not found solely in the assumptions of maleness taking up parenting. Life is not a reaction to the surfaces of life. It is process. To get at understanding it requires deconstruction. Crib notes from a veteran full-time, single Mom.
