Hope you are in BUGU mate? As they are shutting down the bush in Victoria. Say no to VEAC. Don't vote Labour or Greens.
I don't endorse any political party's good or bad on here as its purely for entertainment purposes.
I am part of the FB group I think. I was ment to be getting more info sent to me about it but it hasn't arrived
@@VoGusProspecting short info on it. They want to lock out all bush users.
Yay....... keep politics out of this Chris. All poli parties talk poo!
Vo-Gus Prospecting Good on you for keeping politics out of this. CZcams does NOT need more politics.
Hi again Chris your videos are really help full only I can learn enough fromthem
As a bluegrass musician from Texas, I enjoy the music you have with banjo, mandolin and guitar Australian style. And the Gold!
I know it's 3years back but I'm going backwards and I have to say that you are the best mate we need more mates like you. I don't know you but I am proud to say you are my mate.
Nice looking gold Chris great video mate đŸđđŸ
In the bushes
Snake gaiters, tick spray, mosquito spray, sunburn cream, spider-bite protection, Yowie-gun, drop-bear neck protection, croc gun-.38, steel-toe boots, knee-pads, elbow-pads, steel-lined gloves, bush-machete, 30 cm sheath knife, hand-axe, whew! That's a lot of stuff, and not forgetting your nail file to keep your nails nice!!
That's a hell of a list
Love your channel, I'm learning lots, the biggest adventure in life that any man can have is to be Australian in Australia - this place is heaven (actually better)!
I CANT WAIT for the weather to get nice so i can START MY FIRST PANS.. I GOT PERFECT SPOTS TO GO TOO!!. RAIN NEEDS TO STOP, so I CAN GET OUT AND PAN!!
Another great video! You had a beautiful day out there. Nice gold and good information. Thanks.
No worries man, hope you liked it.
Nice gold Chris the only thing i noticed you dont have and didnt mention was a small first aid kit and most importantly a pressure bandage for snake bites and possible a EPIRB for remote areas. Regards Blake.
I don't carry one. I probably should but I currently don't.
Its probably a good idea mate even if grizzly gets hurt or bitten you can use it i never leave home without mine.
Take care out there mate wriggle sticks are real bad this year.
That makes sense.
Hope the sbakes there aren't as aggressive as they are here. Think I would have a compression bandage with me.
GPS and snake chaps itâs on the list now . Thank You for the wonderful video the pointy little anteater was awesome . Please add the your encounters you have with the local wildlife to your videos itâs a great addition.
Well done sir Iâll be lookin for the next one ! âïž
I'll try to get them in film
Awesome job on that crevice Chris Busted Knuckles would be so proud. It looked like you had a totally awesome day and that is what it is all about. I look forward to your next video and hopefully you will have heavy pans!
I hope he would be proud
Love the wildlife bits. I like to break my detector down til I get to my destination so it doesn't snag in the brush, and it frees up your hands for walking. One more thing on your back, but I always use a walking stick for hiking. Must be getting lazy. See you tuesday
I'm too lazy to do that unless I have to go extremely off the track like 10+km
heaviest thing I carry is my .44 mag. We got bears and ornery moose up here. Happy diggin' :D
Yer a gun here won't help much because everything dangerous is small and full of venom. Lol
Nice gold; seems like it was a great day! I envy you the onset of summer. The cold is just starting to set in here, and the days are getting SHORT! You guys "Down Under" keep me sane in the long cold dark... ...Thanks!
I love using the smaller pans, but I have to "borrow" one of my kids pans. Lol
Permanent borroe
That was wonderful! Loved seeing an echidna in the wild. Hoping the bull ant didn't hurt too much!
Congratulations on the color. Very good information on equipment. Really enjoyed the scenery and commentary.
Thanks man
Cracking bed rock is a great day any day! You are correct lots of people don't clean it with a pump.
Clean it like its your dinner plate! Best gold is the last amount of time others won't put in.
Great video!
Another great video. So much bedrock. Going to get out on the weekend for a pan. Such nice gold down under.
There's just so much of it
Hello great show, great camera work. As always informative. Greetings Goldjunge
Tom
Catching up on your videos... which are very informative, as finding gold is pretty much the same around the world. Thanks for your dedication to the cause bro.
17:37 - The lawmakers in Australia believe that using a hand pump with a slim hose to suck out a crack ('dredging') is environmentally damaging. So instead you are expected to smash rocks up with a crowbar. And that's not damaging the environment. This is a textbook example of why we must be vocal in opposing ridiculous laws that make no sense. Like river sluicing being okay (blowing material from the bank into the waterway, i.e. 'hydraulic erosion') yet high banking being 'environmentally damaging' (where you're able to blow material back into where you dug it out of and allow the water to clean up through sediment pond methods returning to the waterway pretty clean). Speak up, be heard. Oppose dumb laws, and if you're brave, cop the fine and argue it in court that the legislation fails in doing what it's intent was when evaluated in a purposive manner. Or better yet work around the legislation, a high banker cannot be a high banker if it's not high or not on the bank, right? No, your worship, that's a power headed long tom!
nice to see the gold claw out and about!
Thanks for showing the wild life! Very cool!
Aloha Chris... hope youâre doing well?
Awesome vid like always. Very informative. Tyvm.
Keep up the great work, stay safe.
Alohađ€đŒ
I try to stay safe but the bugs find me irresistible
They was awesome. A GOOD NAME for this episode, claiming already claim claims, an how to get sloppy seconds, ahahaha lol that's was so so cool, loved to see what others left behind get found, nice work again. Can't wait to the next 1
18:40 "Pointy Bugger!" love it thank you! 20:05 The Epic Wind Beard : D This was a great video, thank you Chris!
lol I use all the termiknowledgy
Nice video, lots of info for sure. Thanks for showing the critter too that part was fun as well. Ant not so much.
I like the ant too, just not on me
Another great video Chris, he who walks the k's gets the gold. our creeks down here are dry. I didn't see the first aid kit, or did I miss it. Those wriggle sticks are not to be messed with particularly if you are k's from any where, and the bull ants can leave a nasty burning pain as well, trust me I have been stung an they hurt like hell.
I got bit by 3 of them at once when I was a kid and it was agony
Now we talk, my friend. Hiking + prospecting = My love.
Thank You very much Chris, to take your time for this.
Kenneth Prospecting Norway.
Great video Chris. Thanks for sharing.
no worries, thank you.
Love the video, but I really love the gold you got. Doug from Albany Oregon USA. đđđ
Great video Chris. Pretty shiney. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Love your channel man it just keeps getting better!!! Peace â
As always Chris great video :-) I love the transition of stuff in the backpack and stuff out of the backpack :-) and as for the stuff you take with you thank you for the checklist of lightweight items good to know :-)
Glad you liked it man
Another fantastic episode, love the information that you give. No crevices left behind. :)
I levar behind too many I reckon!
Pretty close to what I take out. My sluice is a little bigger but I made it to fit my pack and my shovel is full size but I keep it for walking, snakes, and testing as I walk the creek when it's murky. Changed my pack up the first time I took it out. Also made my large pick... Needed one that bent but was still strong and has a scoop at the end.
Really enjoyed this video. The bush is looking magnificent, and looks like it still has lots of potential. Missed Grizzly but the echidna was great. Thanks.
Meant to say the creek still has potential.
another great video Chris , well done
Awesome work Chris. I like seeing what comes out of already worked crevices and holes. Seeing what people have left behind is mad. đ
Top video brother. Keep up the great work both out in the field and behind the laptop.
Cheers man, how's your holes?
Thanks for all the info. I always try to go the lightest way when having to hike a long distance. Great vid and great gold.
Me too lol
Shorts n Gum boots= slap slap legs all day long:( wonderful viewing, thanks for taking the time to film your adventures
Only if you have stick legs like me lol
Thank you Chris for another great video đșđžđșđžâïž
What's usust?
Pretty good take and a enjoyable video !!!
Hahaha Ya got me hooked tonight and on the 4th video now.... Good stuff.
Only 4 more to go this season, and a rector Tuesday episode and 220 other videos and youll be all caught up!
Great vid Chris and a good take for the day. I wish the 'remote' crks in my area were as scrubless as yours, the crk I've been working took me 1.5 hr to get access to (200m distance and about 30M drop). Got to love far East Vic....
That counts man remote just means hard to access
david taylor ,seems like we are on the same creek , I had to hack my way through there ,cheers
@@VoGusProspecting problem is .. thats how most of the crks and rivers are here .. oh well - it makes it more interesting ...lol
We need to hack dwelp's planned burns list they never do it in the right spots đđ
@@Gippslandgolddigga the dept. won't be doing burns round here for a while ...too dry.
Well done busting that boulder! Huge pull of gold geez!
nice pockets of shiney, that yabby pump works alot better than mine , im gonna have to get a better pump.nice video as always.
Great video mate I'm yet to get up your way it's on the list, down here if those cracks you open up have blue clay in them bingo heaps of gold but the old timers didn't leave many untouched, can't wait till next Friday love your work đ€âđ
Not everyone can grow a great neck protector like you canđ
But they can try
Happy 4 you m8! Great stuff! Wish I had a compact sluice box like that! I use a big camping backpack and my keene 51a barely fits inside (with the flare on). đ
AWESOMEđđ Good job mate
So many coin looking rocks I'd be distracted the whole time đ
Well one of your top videos , I went in to a remote area on Monday, very tuff going , no Mobile Reception ,so I took my CB, like Blake said " pressure bandage for snake bites and possible a EPIRB for remote areas " is a must . I have an EPIRB but not activated ,stupid realy from my part, cheers
I have to add those to my kit
Good video and some very nice yella
Always a pleasure watching these videos. Keep up the good work bro. đđ€đ
Chris, I suffer from anxiety and depression mate, and these vids are massive to me. If you need a hand down there give me a shout. Watching other channels in sure there are other areas in oz where we could crack some ounces!
A great episode again!
thank you
Chris thanks for the education,I'm learning a lot from you.I will get out there soon and now I know what equipment I could use.Great vid...đ
There he was, telling us all about what to take & keeping the weight down and after showing us all that light stuff in his backpack, the last thing he does is to grab a long heavy metal detector and in his heavy gumboots, off he goes.
But boy! Was it worth it!
I know the chances of snake bite are almost none, but where you were, what would you do if you had been bitten by a good size brown?
Thanks for all the great videos.
Poor Grizzly had to stay home and missed the fun.
Better than meeting a wriggle stick
Nice work Chris...and Bull Ants are no joke eh!
No they are quite serious.
Thanks mate and well done on another fine vid always a pleasure to watch and gain knowledge from
I really like that checkered shirt
Love the video. And love the gold that you got
Wooow,Chris,!Beautiful!Love this vid!Full of energ! Looking ALL!Cracking if necesary!Ja ha,Realease the Kraken!!!!!!
Now you're talking...Chrisđđ what a great format. I can see you doing lots of reviews of outdoor products as well as knowledge-based videos. Brilliant plan mate! Btw...is the internet connection at your new house better than your last place?
That's the plan man and its way better!
Great episode Chris, and I mean great! It's all about the hunt and you sure had a really brilliant hunt. I noticed at 17:42 you managed to move both sides of that rock you jemmied. Did you lift that right handed chunk of rock too? That would have been very interesting to see what was under there for sure. Awesome work, keep it coming!
I did, just nothing worth showing. Lists of nano dots.
Good Stuff from you yet again Sir. I love hitting crevices. Something I can do not requiring a butt load of physical work. lb per lb of dirt it's way more productive.
The part where you say it's perfect snake country and why you didn't bring grizzly is what the entire area we work in here looks like. Central California high desert
Similar climet i think
Damn Chris, thatâs impressive man. Good job.
Great Video Chris just love it
Best Info Yet Thanks Dude!
Smashing it Chris! Good stuff đ
thanks man, was a great trip
Yew thatâs a ripper show brow
I know it rhymes
But so does time
But get ya gold claw out
And do the time
Cause cracks N crevices
Take up time
Lol lol
It just fell out of my head lol
Thanks for a great vid bra
Loved it
See you soon in a month
Crouch
You're a poet
Vo-Gus Prospecting hahahahaha
Great video work , great content and great editing . Need a little work with balancing audio levels but thatâs always the hardest part . From your last few vids it looks like you are smashing last years gold totals by a mile ! ... p.s love the new hat ! đ
Really nice edit job!
When was the last time you hit up this area? Would be interesting to see what you could get now with 2 odd years of learning under your belt
Great video brother
Somebody from either the Discovery Channel , History Channel or Travel Channel need to see your new format and get you to make a series on Gold Prospecting in Australia.
god I wish!
It would be really good you could include the history of the old mining days in the areas you prospect and even go out to the opal fields.
I took over 7 ounces 0ut of a crack the size of a quarter standing on end
Pat Denney how long ago? And was that your best find yet? Just curiosity from a newbie
Much appreciated,
Doug
Tenho uma bateia dessa, vou a prospecção breve
Just wondering whether it would be more efficient to put your pan underwater, next to the spot ur pumping out so you have the minimal travel between sucking and dumping? Minimizing the drop out from swinging the pump from spot to pan. Use a rock to weigh down the pan of course.
I get asked this a tone. Short answer is, so long as the pump has good baffles in it you won't lose gold.
I always try to have the catch container as close as possible but you do get a reasonable distance before everything comes out.
Thanks! Didn't realize it was baffled inside. Thought it was just a tube w/ a plunger.
First view and comment, WOW! After watching the video, 133 views and 13 comments all in the short time of 25 minutes. Well done Chris.
Cheers man, you won the race haha
you seem like such a down to earth guy. do you have a family? imagine a mini you out there searching for gold with you. good luck with your channel i have been liking every video and commenting often since i cant help the channel financially lol.
Thanks mate, all the interaction on the channel is more important than money. I;m not one for kids, other people can have them. Ill stick to myself
@@VoGusProspecting I didn't think you would read my comments, that is pretty cool that you replied. I like the episode idea and how that is working out. Also you help people set realistic goals for this type of hobby work. You are an inspiration and the attention you bring suicide prevention is very admirable. I hope God is with you and Grizzly. Seriously good job and good luck đ.
What shoes do most use detecting, I wear sneakers but with all the foot scraping I wear through em pretty quick, another awesome vid as always Chris đđ»đđ»đđ»
hiking shoes
So you walked that log three times just to get that shot? Cool mate
I do stupid things to get film
What are your snake gators? I fly fish and I have started using my Simms wading boots for prospecting. Works really well especially on the faster flowing creeks and slippery rocks.
Who is playing that great music? I love guitar music and I really like this.
Wow u look fantastic with ur hat awsome
I have that same hat.
nice gold banana!
Hey Chris, have you tried the felt sole boots yet ?
Its on the list, I forgot them this day. After purposely putting them next to the door...
Great helpful tips! Those gum boots may have worn you out, but if a snake had been around I bet youâd have been glad of them! Iâm not
Gum boots are sooo heavey but worth it
Gotta move to Australia
hey brother your videos are great I also learn a lot with these videos by the way and where you left the star of your channel the old grizzly do not tell me you changed it for a porcupine
I explain that in the video man :-)
@@VoGusProspecting ok man
Always fun , informative , and entertaining. I just wish I could squat down and Pan like you do. Old body is no fun.
Very good video how come you didnât take the equinox with you?
Because that's my coin machine.
And you've taught another something, Yabi Dabi gold

love ya man, great video
Thanks bro
Dude, those blinds, did you know that print style is collectable?
No, for real?
