Woodturning by Spinfield Turners: A Pink Ivory box with burr elm lid

Using up a scrap of burr elm and a small bit of gorgeous Pink Ivory to make a small box. With a scrap of Blackwood to make a little finial.
Using a light pull drive to turn the elm lid whilst retaining its spiky bits worked well

Love, love turning pink ivory. Very nice combination of woods, and yes, the flat side adds a bit of interest by being different.
