Would like to do this pattern and have purchased it. I felt that this tutorial was not sufficinet to help someone along with the pattern. I know you try not to reveal too much but it would make for a happier knitter to actually have help making this. I unfortunately looked for another tutorial for help.

Sorry for the late reply as I just saw this. I was hoping that this tutorial would help making the tree along with the pattern. But this just shows the crocodile stitch and with no real assistance with following the pattern. Many tutorials help with making the item together with you and I find this really a wonderful way to make new things. This does not stop me from buying the pattern.@@lexismiller7736

Can you use circular needles? I have no straight needles. Love the tree.
Yes, you should be able to use your circular knitting needles as if they are straight needles!
Has anyone successfully knit this pattern? It is a gorgeous tree but the pattern is not working for me.
