- I'm simply obsessed with this song! Here's Vicki Clark as Sally in the Los Angeles transfer of Follies. So glad she got the chance to play this role again! I loved her in the City Center Encores! production of Follies back in 2007 as Sally Durant and she nailed it again this time. Enjoy!

First time hearing Ron Raines singing this song- absolutely nailed it!! This is the perfect baritone voice for so many Broadway roles - I can only imagine what he would do with the Carousel's Soliloquy or South Pacific's Some Enchanted Evening. I have been a Victoria Clark fan since I saw her in Light in the Piazza. Incredible actress and singer, should be more famous.
Ron Raines is incredible, especially in person. His voice makes you fall in love.
I saw this 5 times with Peters, and the 5 times with Clark. Peters brought some star power but boy oh boy did Clark and Raines SOAR together. He held back with Peters. With Clark they're both full throttle
You’d be hard pressed to find this sung better. Glorious.
OMG I drove twice down from Santa Barbara to see this production and became a Victoria Clark fan ever since. She is just extraordinary. So happy that her magic is so well captured in these videos. Thank You so much

Wonderful singing! It's so nice to hear Raines and Clark -- real singers. Broadway pop singers - you could learn a lot from this!
Two gorgeous voices, & lovely acting. Blocking's a little weird, the way they keep going so far apart & back, & out again. I do love Bernadette, but I wish the recording could've been made w. Victoria C. as Sally. One of my favorite singers ever.
Agree -- I liked the staging better in Papermill's production. The singing and acting here, though -- holy shit.

Raines' hand gestures upstage him. Clark does a good job at countering, Mr. Raines, we know who Sally is, no need to gesture to her. He extended his hands so many time that when he does it before he sings reach it has no effect. Clark is a total pro with a legit voice.
