    What an amazing collapse. They had no bench and no killer instinct in the second half. Murray being careless with the ball late is hilarious. Jokic did all he could. Naz Kat and McDaniels were amazing down the stretch. Killer Mike is so clutch for the Wolves. Can’t wait for game one at Target Center.

      Mike Conley finally being a difference maker when it counts...wasn't a difference maker in Utah and always underperforms for his talent level....he is one of the most underrated point guards ever...one of the last remaining true points guards in the league.

      It's MN's defense. They have 8 players in the top 40 for defensive win shares. 5 in the top 20. That's an all-time defense, the likes of which we haven't seen since the '04 Pistons

      @pkz2025 Uh huh... says the person who clearly doesn't pay attention to the defense being played. Way too many fans just focus on offense completely and don't notice what teams are doing on defense.
      You could pick and choose an open shot here and there, sure. But there are far less open shots than the Nuggets normally get.
      That's why the Wolves have the best ranked defense of any team, by far. Yet casuals who only pay attention to offense probably just think their team is having a bad shooting night every time they play MN. Lol

      @@Vic-Vega The journalists are paid to ask questions like that and the players / coaches are paid a lot to answer them. The questions are for the fans, who are the reason why the league has the money to pay the coaches / players so much.
      It's not a dumb question at all when you understand why it's being asked. Plus, the mindset of coaches / players at that level ought to be tested like that. There's an insane level of competition for those roles. Fans and the organization itself want to know his mindset and how he will react...
      So there's more going on here than just a simple literal question. Everyone knows it won't feel good but that's not the point.

    I'm sad the Nuggets lost and exposed their lack of depth (Bruce Brown would have been great!), but I'm rooting for T-Wolves to get their first franchise chip! They got solid core and defense wins championships.

    When the Nuggets win all their bravado and ego went into their heads. When they're losing it shows their true colours instead of being humbled by it. Losing is hard, but don't take it on anyone. Jokic did not make excuses and he was a class act to accept the loss.

    Joker is not going to be singled out. He played well and did what he could, as did Murray. Porter, Gordon, the bench, AND MALONE are the ones that played poorly or made poor decisions.

      @@pkz2025 bro don't deflect. Is Murray not the best of defenders sure. BUT that does not negate the fact that Joker is a defensive liability. You need athletism and speed to play defense, and Joker had none of those attributes. Anthony Edwards had a horrendous shooting night But second half he put Murray in cuffs because he has the speed and athletism that allows him to play both sides. If Joker is cold offensively then he is literally a dud in that game. These are facts not feelings.

    I was proud of Towns playing defense against the Joker. He played his best game ever…when it counted most! He stood tall and strong in the post against a great great center in Jokic. My father used to talk about Russel like that…he’d give his team whatever they needed to win. He was fabulous! A little bit of everything…and strong. Nice job.

    I guess they thought they were better without Bruce Brown. He wanted the same money as Air Gordon at $23 million a year, but said hell no.
    The Nuggets lost because they have no bench. They played 7 players. Having 4 solid guys throughout the entire regular season is paramount. Playing less than half your entire roster is moronic.

    It was those fucking 3s they kept shooting. In the 3 games Denver won, they shot no more than 30 while the 4 they lost had them shooting their most 3s.

Yes, I know the paint was clogged up but Gordon, Joker, and KCP had to force the point . And they didn’t do that obviously.

    It took 7 games to get your depth exposed?...im not saying it didn't but if it took that long to get exposed and you were able to go that long without depth, then how important is depth really?     I agree Malone came off like a douche-nozzle in the press conference. However, the whole thing about clipping videos of analysts.....Dan is doing the same thing Barkley did when talking about that. He wasn't calling any of the analysts out....he was using it as motivation for his team. He literally said if he were an analyst and watched those first 2 games he would have said the same things himself. How is that "calling out" people?

An fing strong real man. And he got it going. On defense, taking the double teams and distributing, and making key points in tremendously important moments. Truth.

    Of all the coaches in the NBA, this guys has to be the grumpiest angry jerk type of guy. He whines like LeBron, and sets a horrible example for players he coaches and it’s obvious!!!     This was Ant-Man's first game 7, and he melted down and pooped his pants. He played good defense in the second half, but also let the opposing guard in Murray score game-high 35 points overall in the game.
