Kay Adams? Yes, please.
My Mom and Dad were both from immigrant families. I have grown up seeing both sides. I understand the SURVIVAL mentality (And I know how to channel into that side when needed), but I have been able to embrace and promote the more calm, systematic side that I learned from others in the family. I use the survival side when I need to get something done, but I usually operate in the calm, daily side. I also realize that I can't function in the survival mode all the time because it is draining. And, I realize that being in that mode will not usually attract others because I will be in "get it done" mode and I am not easy to be around.
I also agree that the Pandemic (Covid in the early 2020s) has made me re-evaluate self-care and how much I try to be more conscious of my overall health. I really am glad that the world had that health reboot so we remember to concentrate on important things. Tragedy, especially worldwide tragedy, tends to do that to humans.

Watched this on my run at the gym! Just when you think you couldn’t love KAY more…great interview! If I ever go hiking and I see Kay, it will be very hard to let her have her time - hopefully she won’t have AirPods in. 😁
