    Danke👍 Völlig richtig, verstehe ich auch nicht warum so viele Produkte gibt die nur Wasserabweisend sind🤯 habe seid diesem jahr auch die Touratech Soziussitzbanktasche Extreme anstatt dem Soziussitz...hat mich auch immer genervt irgendetwas drüberzustülpen wenn es anfängt zu Regnen...

    In your current videos we can still see you using the Touratech saddle bags. Im currently in the market for a new luggage solution coming from a single 60L drybag for offroading (primarily TET, ACT, lots of gravel roads, etc on an 890 Adv R). I was wondering if you experienced any downsides in those years and if youd buy them again, especially over solutions like Red Mamut U-Bag Adventure/V-Duro (80/60L rackless system) or the Mosko Reckless 80? Thanks alot!

    • @MotoVibes
      @MotoVibes  Před 3 měsíci +1

      I still like the saddle bags for their light weight, slim profile and relatively large storage space of 40 liters. They are not as robust as the Mosko Reckless and I managed to get a small hole in them because they were rubbing on a metal part of the bike (I fixed that now). They do hold up alright when I dropped the bike at slow speeds. If need more storage I can add the 50 liter duffle bag - if I want to keep the weight down the duffle bag stays home. This flexibility is nice as well. I did look at the reckless system as well - just recently even - but they are much heavier and the side holster are hard to pack if the dry bags are fully loaded. Many reviewers said they need to unpack some of the contents or at least open the dry bag before putting them into the holsters. That is probably less of an issue when you go camping but if you stay in hotels the packing in the morning may be a bit cumbersome. The saddle bags are easy to access while on tour which make them a bit more practical than U-shaped bags like the Giantloop bags etc. I hope that helps

      @chilly243 Před 3 měsíci

      @@MotoVibes yes, absolutely! Exactly my thoughts, because everything adds up in the end! Do you use them with inner bags and is it cumbersome to remove the whole unit for the hotel every evening? I'm considering the Enduristan inner bags in XL, albeit they are just around 17 liters. (Maybe rain gear on top or chain lube etc...)

      @@chilly243 I use packing cubes for the saddle bags. The simple kind from Amazon 😉 works well as I have to bring in the bags in the hotel anyway

    Hello Oliver, this is a very good review/comparison video about different option for luggage availability for ADV bikes. I love your choices and set up! I just got my new soft bags and cannot wait to test them. Unlike you I don't carry much electronics so my concern is to keep my food/clothes dry along with my tent! Only one GoPro no drone! Cheers

    Hmm… möglicherweise ist auch die Optik ein Grund… ich kenne viele die Hard und Soft Gepäck haben und genau wie ich wechselt das nach Anforderung der Tour… das Gewicht ist meiner meiner nach sekundär da die 20 Kilo Hardcase und Halterung und Softbags und eventuell Halterung eine Differenz von 5 Kilo…
    Du kannst ja mal die Sachen von SW-Motec ansehen… und ja wenn ich einfach bags auf das Motorrad schnalle erspare ich mir das Gewicht der Halterung aber naja deine vorherige Lösung mit dem Duffelbag war auch leicht und praktisch und bietet für einige Tage Kapazität…
    Meiner Meinung nach ist das reversible System von SW-Motec mit den verschiedenen Taschen das beste… da auch im Gelände alles an seinen Platz bleibt vor allem wenn’s dich schmeißt…

      PS: auch ein Thema ist das abreiben der Lackierung mit solchen Taschen, bei dir auch nicht so ein Problem da du ja a Folie drauf hast

    • @MotoVibes
      @MotoVibes  Před 2 lety

      Ich schließe auch nicht aus, dass ich mal komplett mit Hardcases fahre - gut, wenn man beides hat und je nach Anforderungen wechseln kann - irgend etwas abschließbares wäre manchmal schon ganz gut.
      Die Koffer & Topcase von SW-Motech finde ich auch super - wären sicher in der näheren Auswahl falls ich mal in die Versuchung komme aber für die aktuellen Touren freue ich mich über das DEUTLICH geringere Gewicht. Mein komplettes Gepäck inkl. der Taschen wog für die Balkan Tour 30 kg! Bei SW-Motech bist Du da alleine für die Koffer, Topcase und allen Halterungen bei 22 kg Leergewicht!

      Sowas von richtig! Weight is king! Vor allem auch wo: TC/ Tankrucksack, noch dazu schwer beladen (>5kg) geht gar nicht! Meine T7, ACT It.: 1x mit Alu (je 30l) 10 kg Gepäck, 1x alles in Softgepäck, ein Unterschied wie Tag & Nacht! Mpo...

    Hi my German friend
    I am possibly going to go with a Givi top box for security
    and large dry bag to grab and take to my room with me
    But can see why you need so much space
    All those drones and camera equipment
    A place for every thing and every thing in its place lol
    Great video 👍🏻🏍

    • @MotoVibes
      @MotoVibes  Před 2 lety +1

      I have been contemplating a Givi top box instead of the Enduristan Pannier Topper for the same reason. it would add another 5 kg just for the top case without the content but it would allow me to walk away from the bike for a little bit - thing is - if someone wants to get into your stuff even hard cases only go so far but they still beat any kind of soft luggage that I have. The challagen will be to pack lighter for the upcoming trip ;-)

    hey thanks for that Informations! i like your way of setup. First : Do you leave the bags on the bike and use liners or allways dismount?
    second question: what have you wraped arround your crashbars?

    • @MotoVibes
      @MotoVibes  Před 2 lety

      Hi Matthias- I usually take all the bags off and leave nothing on the bike. That is also why I don’t use liners at the moment. As for the crash bars - these are nylon straps to cover the damaged parts (the crash bars are from my 1290 SAS) - they are 6m in length and could be used to strap extra luggage or tow another bike but mainly they are there for cosmetic reasons to prevent additional paint from chipping off during a slow speed off-road crash.

    I own a basepack from enduristan, and now got the TT waterproof speed bags. The material used from TT is from a less quality, feels like PVC, the Enduristan feels like leather.
    Interested in the saddlebags, but if they are the same quality I go for the blizzard. Yo have any idea how they compare? (blizzard vs TT sadle bags extreme edition?) Thanks!

    Nice! I went with the Mosko Moto Revolver 80. Once you have the harness on, which takes a few minutes to do properly, it literally only takes seconds to slide the bags into their corresponding pockets or to take them out again. You can check them out on my 1290 SAR in Berlin, if of any interest!
    I had to remove the passenger handles and replaced them with spacers for a proper fit of the harness, though!
