This is the first Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party for 2019! There are a few differences than usual in that it was raining, so horses weren't used and some elements were not in the parade (most were). Characters include Mickey and Minnie, Elsa, Anna, Olaf and Kristoff, and the toy soldiers - and so much more!

I went to the magic kingdom the month after your filmed this, and I saw the parade. I stayed at the Magic Kingdom until midnight. I saw the parade two times, the first one it was rainy. But the had the Disney Toy Soldiers playing their instruments. The second one there were no soldiers playing instruments, only the one’s dancing, plus no cast member was dancing due to the rain, even Santa Claus was holding a umbrella. This took place during The last Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. So that’s all I have to say.
I always cry happy tears when I see Christmas parade. I love Disney World. I wish I can move to Florida.
Jeff and Denise, thanks as always for sharing your festive holiday journeys with us and loving some of the newer decorations this year. I really like the creative and fun holiday items at the Animal Kingdom and those puppets are great. So maybe that's why it didn't feel so "Christmassy"

Is it just me or this was kind of cheap compared to other years? I mean, I still enjoyed it but didnt get "the feeling"
it rained that night! So a lot had to be modified. Try finding a version from a regular night, it's way more extravagant!

I heard that the trumpets were not there due to the light rain. That being said, I counted at least 5 things missing from this parade compared to last year. Weather? Cutbacks? Time will tell.
