I have worked in three countries and four states as an early childhood teacher after obtaining my bachelors in Early Childhood Teaching Education, and this is exactly correct what we are asked to do, to let the child be innovative through exhibiting their talents and skills in the way they think and act and never go to change or teach what we would want them to do. From birth that is what we are supposed to do, to let the child come up with their own ideas and investigations as they are always smarter and clever than us and they will come up with more knowledge and innovative ideas that we have not learnt or even thought about. That is why we should not push or put the children under pressure, but observe them by giving them plenty of choices and variety of experiences exposing them to the world as much as possible so that they learn from their experiences and activities. As teachers, we are supposed to provide different experiences in science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM), languages, dancing, art, drawing, literacy, singing, any kind of artistic dramas, music, physical activities, sports, and follow up what each child's talent and passion is focused. Then we are there to support and guide them through by we ourselves researching and finding ways and means how to guide and support the child motivating them to learn in the field that they have a desire to achieve. We provide them openings and let them do things how as they think is possible or right and we should not try to change them according to the way we would want them to do things according to our thoughts and wishes. Its very important to understand what the psychologist is mentioning here because in the western world children from 0 to 6 years are guided in this manner and teachers are not suppose to change the children's thinking or influence them with our own ideas. We can show or role model, but its the children who are creative will do a much better discovery then we could think of teaching. That is what the whole world needs today. A world without corruption.
