I freakin love Luxord. He’s slowly becoming one of my favorite characters. On top of that, there’s been a ton of theories that there may be more to Luxord that meets the eye.
For one, the fact that Luxu/Xigbar doesn’t know who Luxord is a GIANT red flag. Luxu has lived and watched the world from the sidelines for thousands of years. It’s likely there’s not a thing he doesn’t know about. So the fact that he doesn’t know much about Luxord only adds to his mysterious nature.
I should also mention that in one of Nomura’s interviews, the “Card” that Luxord gives to Sora during the keyblade war will actually play into something. It’s theorized that Luxord was the one who saved Sora from certain doom. In other words, after abusing the power of Waking Luxord’s card is what allowed him to appear in Shibuya. So this means Luxord could actually be an ally of sorts in future games (in theory).
Lastly, luxord’s rank in the original organization was number 10. Or rather, the Roman numeral “X”. And we all know how important the letter X is... or rather, the Recusant’s sigil.
All in all, I’m absolutely positive there is more to this character.

The new voice actor playing Xehanort is Christopher Lloyd because the other voice actor that played Xehanort in the main story, Rutger Hauer, passed away.
Definitely a cursed role. We gotta pray for Lloyd.

The role for Xehanort is the video game equivilant to Defense against the dark arts, thankfully he isn't needed anymore for a while.
Christopher Lloyd was a great xehanort even for a short time
This dlc has me more excited for the future of the franchise than ever.
I'm interested in what role yozora is going to play what other characters we'll meet who use his kind of technology powers?

A lot of people aren't aware of Magia and Aegis. There was an early toy story scene that got cut. They're the two that are with Yozora in the trailer for Verum Rex.
"Is Sora technically dead in the tutorial?"
Nah. Sleeping. Same with the other kingdom hearts intro scenes. Chirithy mentions that the realm of sleep and the realm of death touch, and that it's sometimes hard not to cross over while you sleep. During the tutorial, Sora is probably just taking a lil nap while they fly to Olympus between DDD and kh3.

I was looking around to find someone doing a let's play of this DLC, and I'm SO GLAD I clicked on your series! I love that you show your excitement for the game and nerd out because that's exactly the kind of reaction I'm looking for when watching this game! I just started but I had to comment this!

Dude it'll probably always be like that. We've got another Axel/Lea situation on our hands. The same thing is probably gonna end up happening with Saix/Isa in the next game. Hell, even Demyx is struggling with Ienzo/Zexion.

Is the Master of Masters basically the “Rick Sanchez” of the Kingdom Hearts franchise...? He knows everything more than anybody, and apparently he’s just going with the flow as he sees what happens next in the future. He’ll continue to do whatever he wants whenever he wants, all while knowing that it may lead to absolutely nothing at the very end... regardless on what others say about him on what they think “is right and wrong”....
I'd hardly call Rick someone who "just goes with the flow" with how much chaos he's directly responsible for.

..Ooor some sort of time traveling Sora. Personally I'd be fine with never knowing who he is. He's a really cool character, and I'm crazy excited for where the series is going, but eh. I feel like MoM would be better as a totally anonymous man.

@Scarecrow I’ve seen theories that say he could be Demyx (although I personally really like the idea of him being future Sora with time and/or dimension traveling powers) That COULD just be bias though, because I first heard that on the Team Four Star KH3 playthrough (TFS made the Dragon Ball Z Abridged series)

It literally means that people lie, so use your eyes. But people can still mislead you, so don't trust your eyes 100%, either.
The only organization members who we don't have much background information on who will or could be important Marluxia+Larxene (KUX showed them), Deymix, and Luxord ( kind of a spoiler: a major hint will be revealed in the dlc's secret ending)
Not gonna lie, I know there's been alot of playthroughs of this dlc (HMK, Sky, TGS etc), but the only ones I've wanted to see is Nyancave, Superbutterbuns and most definitely this.
@Tum Tum haha yeah it sucks that we gotta await for the Nyancave gang to post it in a few days but I feel it'll be worth it, as well as Murderofbirds.
And as for Buns, I do understand to a point that it didn't need to be worth mentioning but then again you have people who never would piece it together.
However I agree with you where they did complain way longer than needed and necessary lol 😅
Xehanort branded the potential vessels with the sigils (X) in everyway, physical whether on clothes or as a scar like for Saix, and also verbally, hence the Organization 13 members. They just wanted to make it clear and that was it lol

Super excited for Nyancave. I watched along with their steams from kh1. Honestly, it's a shame that they restarted kh3 so close to the dlc releasing.

@@taecampus Part of me kind of prefers the edited reactions which only show certain scenes. So many scenes are so identical that I'd prefer it if most uploaders were to cut it out. Although the scenes look WAY better, they're still the same scenes.

Imagine after Sora disappears, as a price to pay, all of his friends will either be adults or long gone by the time he returns
I'm sure that there will be some crazy ass reason that stops everyone from properly aging, or just have it happen and not explain it. Sorta like how Ventus was asleep for years, yet is still only about 15. Aqua and Terra not aging makes perfect sense, but Ven definitely should have aged. Even Sora himself aged while he was sleeping.
@@qrowing The difference is that Sora still had his heart while he slept; Ven's was lost, hidden away inside Sora. I'm pretty sure that's what kept him from aging.

How about the short gap between the intro scene to Ven's story, and the proper story of BBS? Ventus doesn't look any younger while he's dying.
@@qrowing I honestly don't remember that moment very well; been a while since I've played BBS. I have really only made sense of [very] few things throughout the KH story. Nomura likes to create questions amongst players and then never answer them -- and any answers he _can't_ come up, he'll just retcon.
@@LoneGamerNerd The scene with Ventus and Xehanort in Destiny Islands. Ven is wrapped up in that weird white sheet, and his heart is totally broken. That takes place a bit before the proper BBS story. Xehanort takes him to Land of Departure shortly after. That's when he meets Terra and Aqua, and has that total mental breakdown.

Also, the current theory is that Demyx is actually the Union X player character. Not Luxord.
I would have LOVED to have them Included The World That Never Was and Castle Oblivion as fully explorable with secret Boss fights that you could replay whenever you wanted. And the Ability to play as all the Guardians of Light including Roxas, Axel and Xion. Roxas especially, as he is my favorite.
Still holding out hope for 358/2 Days remaster for Consoles or Switch. With like Birth By Sleep level graphics so that maybe it could also come to the switch. And have everyone fully voiced and an updated battle system.
And if they do ever chose to only do a remaster and it was only for Console and PC then I would hope for Kh3 level graphics and KH3 battle system.
Lol I just really want a game that let's me play as Roxas and the other Organization XIII members with better graphics than the DS game. 😭😂

Yes, you can. When you save your DLC progress, they added a feature where, if you want to swap between DLC and base endgame, select your loaded save file and press SQUARE instead of instead of X. X takes you to DLC, square takes you to base game end.

You should!!! It’s an amazing series. I highly recommend buying the Story So Far collection on PS4 tho. It contains all of the games, aside from KH3 here.

What happened to the P5 content?
I became a little overwhelmed with working on editing the P5 videos, prepping the RWBY discussion streams, doing the weekly reactions and working on the weekly scripts for my Volume 7 reviews. I fell off a bit with P5 uploads, but they'll be back on track VERY soon! Volume 7 ends this upcoming weekend, and then the P5 videos will continue. This KH3 Story DLC was minor in comparison and was completed in one sitting, so it was much easier to manage. Sorry for going dark on P5 though.
