I just wanna play as Moloch ONE time before i die lol my all time favorite character besides reptile and chameleon, Mokap and Blaze. And also there was a weird rumor in konquest back in the day or an older mortal kombat there was a two headed lizard you can fight and play as if you beat it at a chance battle. Some secret boss that is almost unknown I think they scrapped the character because it was too strong.

In MKDA, Shang Stung and Quan chi look like regular characters instead as a bosses (As Shinnok in MK4). Even Molock is the sub boss, he is a lot harder than Shang Stung and Quan chi.
I think that was the factor that let them make "Noob/Smoke" in the next game, pushing forward the idea of a playable deadly alliance. It would had made Quan Chi and Shang Tsung a lot better. Although I already like them the way they are, the outfits were awesome!
The sub-boss is usually harder than the main boss in MK games, to be honest. The only exceptions are Shao Kahn in MK3 and MK9, and Onaga in Deception. Still, Moloch is harder than Onaga, as at least Onaga has those Kamidogu in his stage that can stun him.
