Petra is amazing!! You both should totally go!! That building is the first thing you see after riding a horse through a small beautiful canyon, and if you go to the right from there it opens up into a huge canyon that contains an amphitheater and tons of other buildings... it is a great place!!
I'm from Trollhättan, Sweden where they used to make SAAB. My dad worked there for over 35 years until they officially filed for bankruptcy in 2011.

Apparently only the outside of the NYC firehouse was used (which is operational) but the interior scenes were filmed at a non-operational firehouse in LA, Fire Station No. 23.
Glad Link has the wheel spin back (and of course that he’s getting better)
Speaking of Anderson Cooper, a few months ago my bf and I were walking through Central Park and we saw Mr. Cooper sitting on a park bench talking on the phone and he was so immaculate that he practically shined. Radiant like a pregnant woman.

I saw the set for Beauty and the Beast when I was studying at Shepperton! It was filmed on the same stage as the street from Mary Poppins Returns and the Villas in Mama Mia 2. It’s a huge stage
Alaska is an awesome place to spend a week, ski, experience a crazy unique climate and beautiful scenery and landscapes. Loved going there in 2018.

The Phillips Mansion in Pomona is exactly what Rhett is talking about! You show up and take part in a interactive theater piece. Usually something spooky. It’s so much fun!
That Belle's Village picture looked like completely CG. If it's an actual built set they must be doing some heavy filtering or something.
Me and my dad were once 'kidnapped', in Jordan, by our taxi driver, he took us to those desert bungalows. It was both the scariest and exciting experience. Highly recommend
The MIB2 set also looks like the Heaven set from Exorcist 3.
Also, highly recommend Crimson Peak. It may not click the first time, but on my second watch i was blown away

Yes I have had that feeling, it probably had to do with the fact that is was during Covid but we went to Durango for a couple of days, hadn’t been there in years. But my fiancé and I just kept getting the feeling like everything was fake… I felt like it was The Truman Show it was so strange

No cause it breaks my heart that they tore down Allerdale Hall after they finished Crimson Peak. They could have done tours!! Why tear down a full house you worked so hard on?? And they made it so that the floor actually oozed the red clay when you stepped on it!! It was such a beautiful house and it’s one of my favorite movies and I will never forgive them for tearing it down.

I'm like you Rhett, I love old spooky mansions, the idea of them, in film etc. I didn't think this was such a great movie though. The house in The Haunting is so much more interesting.
It’d not one of his best, but from a design point of view it is a magnificent movie. The clothes and architecture is really great. So yeah I still enjoy watching it.
