    I learnt how to make this from Tadashi Mori. His explanations are easy to understand but it's not as detailed as this one. To make the rose more perfect, this video is a good one. For beginners, I suggest watching his video first and then come back when you get the concept.

    Thank you so much for the detailed video! I’ve always struggled with shaping the petals, turns out that tweezers are the secret.

    Quite amazing that a single 2-D piece of paper can be transformed into such a nice flower. Quite a few critical moves though are too far to the left and out of site of viewing range.

    The small twist fold makes this model beautiful.

    i have a question. how the steps actually come to mind of a someone? like who comes up with the steps and the folds that needs to be done?

      Im pretty sure it’s half trial and error and half planning out, origami is like math, and certain techniques of folding the paper lead to different results.

      +sato kun I think is about the paper, i also did it with a normal print sheet of paper, it was really really hard, but you need to be very carefull, i got it at the 3rd attempt, it was difficult, but at the end, it's very nice! c:

    • @markgillespie4572
      @markgillespie4572 Před 6 lety

      I had a problem with my center protruding, and it turned out it was because I did the twist fold in the wrong direction. Once I fixed the twist to go in the correct direction, the model collapsed properly

    This is so beautiful *A* But could you tell me what kind of paper you used? I assume it's not simple origami paper because it wouldn't have handled all those creases. I'd really appreciate if you told me :)
