Mike looks to fit the DDE mold..he’s a knowledgeable fabricator and all around car guy. Best fit I’ve seen for DDE in years. Plus the camera likes him…very easy watched. Other team members were a bit difficult to watch. Let’s go Mike👍🏻

Def a fan of the Canada squad. Big fan of Mike though like him better than Dean and others even though Dean was cool. I just feel like Dean was really more into it for himself, I could def see why they don't work with each other anymore plus he wasn't producing on the track which was the whole point.

Damon was explaining about why they stop working with certain shops. I would say if he is being honest with shops about what he expects from that shop and it doesn't work for those shops then Damon moves on ..... I wouldn't call it burning bridges. Damon seems to be a no BS guy - its refreshing to see someone like this . OHHH Dave is cool too!!

$Custom work filming$ Big fan, 61 year old car guy. Suggestion for your shop builds, you could set up high quality surveillance type cameras around the equipment used by Mike, run into a recording system. You could have them start when the building is unlocked in the morning, that way nothing would be missed ?

I've watched Mike from years in FD. Mike's always been a outstanding and underrated driver fabricator. He knows at all the nerdie techie stuff.
You do know that that new bumper on your van if he ordered it and it was shipped came folded in half and he had to heat it to get it straight I do body work and when we order stuff like that a lot of times the factory will send it folded into and you have to heat it up and get it back straight sometimes you can just lay it out right in the Sun and it will go back to original shape the first time I seen it tripped me out!!! Anyway love the car it's coming along! Essa is doing an amazing job!!!
might be annoying or expensive but an idea is maybe get scans of the parts youre worried about breaking that are impossible to find. That way worst case scenario, you have the scans to get replicas made

Sure you thought of this already, but should have Marc(k?) set up the build section of the shop with cameras mounted around so when the drift king is doing fab you can have b,c,d rolls on hand

Was thinking about it, it would be really cool to see a few stationary cameras around the shop while mikes working, would help a with the camera operators not being able to be there all the time too, you would be able to capture everything and the Timelapse would be simple, just a thought

I enjoy watching the (somewhat scripted) shenanigans on the main channel, but I also equally enjoy seeing the non-Celsius charged, more mellow and off the cuff content here.

These make me respect the editing of the actual vlogs
for the shop you can chat with your camera guys and workout a layout to stick cameras around the shop from different angles, strap a mic on mike so any time he wants to talk about what hes doing he can for example look at the camera on his work bench and explain to us the process, this idea would require alot of testing to see what angles and view points work but i think would be a good idea overall and kinda automate the process a little. ps editor might be pissed
The tie rod part you were referring to is called a check strap. Nightmare when they strip out of the body!
Do they perform the same function in a different way? Or are they engineered to do different tasks? Thanks
@@charleskavoukjian3441 the check strap just holds the door in different positions and stops it opening too far, a tie rod (or track rod in UK) is what connects the steering rack, via a track rod end, to the steering knuckle

you know the 550 head lights you can use Gintani Eirscanner aka the 3d scanner and make your own parts your going to AF carbon shop you can scan the parts get a blank set 3d printed and then have carbon ones made cheaper than ferrari branded ones,

It's like here at home I wanted to build my own stuff just was always told no. Then friends got their shops & wanted my help. I helped. If I had to go back in time I would've already been working on anything 1900-2003 or newer. Just not much of a tech guy & like older vehicles with labels that don't require me to have school loans just to work on car.
Sounds like you may need one more camera man. I'd like to volunteer my services. Short Irish man with a good sense of humor, someone you guys could easily make fun of and can take it no problem because I've heard every short joke in the book. As Gumball starts in Edinburgh this year, you really need to see if you can get up to some Scottish Highland roads before the rally starts, mainly the West and parts of the 'Old Military Road'. Driving across Rannoch Moor and on through Glencoe for the first time is pretty epic. I'm sure James can tell you all the best spots too. If you're taking the 550, I'd probably remove the front splitter first....or the roads here will!

I love the Hummer! Iconic vehicle. But you guys need to do some crazy off roading with it. Find a swamp and dig through mud and get it all filthy. Get someone knowledgeable on off roading with you. Also bump it up to 800hp from the 550
