I love Troy's content, but lately it's been difficult to watch all the long videos given my current schedule, so, a shorter video and having it be a pseudo-flounder fest episode made my day, thank you Troy

This was an awesome video!! You should try doing advanced shortcuts with low tier bikes. It's a challenge, but I did manage to do the gap jump on mushroom gorge with the shooting star after 7 tries. 😅

I actually found out a method to get the coconut mall glitch to work! It’s similar to what Nick was doing but you start with the first escalator (the one that’s declining) and at the beginning of the pole at the end of the rail you start drifting. It’s best done with a outside drift bike (I typically use rosalina with shooting star)

You Should Do A Inverted Camera Challenge With Item Rain
Dude, you can just go a little further back to activate the checkpoint marker that’ll make the lap count. Only reason I know is because I found out for myself after enough screwing around with these shortcuts.
It’s just like Wario’s Gold Mine, where you have to go back a certain distance to activate the checkpoint (or whatever it is called) or the lap won’t count.

It is so crazy how this game broke (I think) 23 out of the 32 tracks with ultra shortcuts
AFAIK it is 32/32 now. The rest are TAS
Correct! 21/32 Ultra shortcuts + 2 Ultra longcuts (rBC3 and rMC). In RTA terms, there are 22 ultra shortcuts with one (DDR) being physically impossible.

I forget who it was that I saw, but it was someone doing shortcuts with (arguably) the worst bike, the Phantom. I think it would be interesting to see u try that for a video.

that ghost valley clip I got first try when I was just messing around
I tried getting the mushroom gorge glitch in time trials and I almost got the cut but I got so much air and clipped through the top of the mountain.
It was weird
that happens sometimes, it wont count the lap, you need to not get too much air but not too little

Out of all the shortcuts Troy and Nick chose to conquer, Mario Circuit was the most challenging shortcut task of them all!
Try the other strat for the Mario circuit
It is a bit easier from my point of view.

with all due respect, Troy, please adjust the splitscreen layout. The one you've got here does not make for a pleasant viewing experience whatsoever.
I like that the tracks feature red signs with slash marks as wall barriers to indicate that Troy and Nick must obey the shortcut challenge law!
Instead of filling Troy's comments section with several comments every time he uploads, why don't you write a blog about how much you like his videos? I'm sure that would be a better use of your time 😅😬
