what intrigues me more is that every living organism on earth has been through trials and errors(evolution) to create the 'perfect organism' which can survive and reproduce efficiently, giving rise to curious little life forms that sustain their existence by carrying out highly organized and systematic analysis of their surroundings. its accurate on so many levels that it sometimes makes me think of our natural world as being a living superorganism...or maybe nature itself has a mind of its own and plans out algorithms for every organism to coincide with the plans of the organisms they are directly or indirectly affected by. Or maybe, nature is in fact, just a life-sustaining system for living organisms which is planned out by a race of higher beings reigning supreme, for reasons which would be better off not known by us, humans.
The universe and the natural world are amoral, why would any species be worth a damn to the universe?
Raskolnikov the4th exactly my thoughts. The universe is so vast that someday we all might just disappear, millions of years of history and advancements, all gone; and there'd be not even the slightest of impacts on what we left behind. The thought alone is disturbing for me.
Everything that happens is, or at least was initiated by, random chance. That's the only reason why evolution works, becuase it has such a stupid amount of time in which to take effect. Obviously evolution, once began, will set itself on an at least somewhat logical course (higher and higher intelligence) but there's no more "intent" behind that than there is in stars burning until they die, as either a dwarf star or as a supernovae.

I caught that too
C and Bb work fine there. It’s a minor 9 chord.
Q it does and doesn’t. Sure it works because it’s the minor 7 of c in the context of a minor 9 chord. But all the way down there it sounds too dissonant with the rest of the chord. Also the original recording had a 5th down there as well as the low c rather than the minor 7.
