- This is the famous track One-Winged Angel that everyone knows and loves, but without voices.
The track was composed by Nobuo Uematsu, I've only removed the voices before to rip it from the game with some hex editing tricks.

This part, this part right here, maybe it's just me, but many other versions of One Winged Angel seem to lack the sheer intimidation that this part oozes.
Honestly I'm yet to find a rendition of the song that lives up to the original at all. I just can't imagine them working over the fight. The original just sounds...harsher? Idk how music works lmao.
@@quillllly There a certain charm the PS1 version has. I think that future renditions of the song are what Nobuo Uematsu wanted it to sound like originally, but it's just such a shame that this specific part has yet to be recreated and sound the way it does.
Maybe it's just PS1 charm, but hearing that specific part play as an asteroid hurdles through planets and makes the sun implode leaves a lasting impression.
I think the only other version of One Winged Angel that comes to close to matching the original is the Advent Children one, however, that one might have changed too much to count for this

I think the underlying timpani drums in that part help with the intimidation factor

How reminding of the 1998 and 2012 PC versions of Final Fantasy VII. On those versions, the themes is in MIDI and for One-Winged Angel there's no lyric at all. The 2013 Steam version reverts all music back to the original PS1 version.

Yeah those horns are actually sort of repurposed. They’re still there but they descend rather than ascend like they do here. It’s actually super interesting they haven’t used this original horn part in anything else
With the voices taken out, this theme sounds like an epic rendition of the Psycho Shower Murder Scene Music theme, and especially the opening.

The game is programmed for bosses including final bosses to go base on levels and etc for super bosses its a different story. So its like if your higher level it will be harder and if your lower it will be harder based on your level something like that.

ThatOneEpicGuy Dude, when Hironobu Sakaguchi was designing Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest gave him the idea to make his game an RPG. Dragon Quest is one of the most best-selling series in Japan right now. It never got much footing in AMERICA, and that's only because of bad timing/luck. Dragon Quest 7, for example, wasn't localized until AFTER the release of the PS2, a couple months before the American release of Final Fantasy X. Despite that, it still sold about 200,000 copies, which was a lot better than what Enix of America had expected. Bottom line: I'm pretty sure that Square was aware that their main moneymaker, Final Fantasy, had a rival named Dragon Quest.
@JF_Abridged In 1994, DQ4 was adapted as an audio drama and sold as a 3-part CD set. These CDs came with artwork for the characters, and Psaro is shown with silver hair.
