My vote is for 6271. 6274 has increased detail (hatches, ammunition storage, figurehead, etc.) compared to 6271 and its stern windows are actually set in a space below decks (6271's stern window is on the open aft deck). 6274 does look a bit tubby, slow, and ungainly alongside the more sleek 6271. The single shroud rigging aft of the fore mast and the lack of sails on the aft mast of 6274 do not make functional sense (standing rigging has support functions and thus a corresponding one in the opposite direction for counter-tension is needed; also shrouds were almost always attached laterally on the port and starboard sides). 6271 fixes the rigging and dispenses with the deadweight aft mast and thus looks (somewhat) more realistic.
Ha! Czytasz mi w myślach. czy jak? Dziś odebrałem przesyłkę z 6271. 6274 z nowmi replikami żagli i powiększoną załogą czekają właśnie na porównanie. Klocki z 6271 niestety strasznie zakurzone więc musiałem je umyć, a składać będą w tą niedzielę. Oczywiście repliki żagli zamówione a i załoga przekroczy 10 marynarzy ;) Już zauważyłem, że części kadłuba są inne i węższe o 1/3 (8 studów w środku na działą i sprzęt) w 6271. Zobacze jak to wpłynie na całość wyglądu ale chyba wole clippera bardziej bo jest naprawdę sporo miejsca do MOCowania ;)
You have a really nice looking example of 6274! The biggest thing I don't like about 6271 is the dark grey hull tops. If only they were black, it would really match the black and white color scheme. Otherwise I like 6271 better for its sleek and speedy-looking design.
The true advantages of 6271 are a compass and movable rudder. All the rest of arguments stay on 6274 side, but still hard to decide which of them is better for me :-))
Nie wiedziałem, że elementy kadłuba okrętu żołnierzy w czerwonych mundurach były węższe. Przypuszczam, że Renegade Runner oraz Cross Bone Clipper również z takich korzystają i ciekawi mnie jak jest w przypadku okrętu Hiszpańskiej Armady

I prefer the Caribbean clipper, I don't know why but the color scheme seems so enticing.

Lubie go i tyle
Po obejrzeniu dodam coś co dopiero do mnie dotarło: 6271 nie ma kotwicy! Gwóźdź do trumny. 6274 znacznie lepszy.
