Creatine has been amazing for me. I leaned out while gaining weight and minimal exercise (compared to my normal). I honestly feel 'brain benefits' as well.
Bloodwork is perfectly fine however, gaging many vitamins and minerals and other substances through bloodwork can be a matter of inaccuracy, considering the simple fact that many of these substances don't reside in the blood, but rather in the cells. So any reading of these substances via blood is simply a snapshot of what's happening in your blood at that very moment in time. Intracellular tests are much more indicative of levels but also much more inaccessible and costly. Just get everything your body needs, and we'll all be fine.
Your health is worth it. You can get a full blood test from Quest for under $150 and get results needed to show where you are low. Most insurances cover these tests as well. Our terrible system doesn't want you to solve any of this naturally but to wait and then take pills later in life. Reach out and ask if you are covered and for how many a year. I get a blood test every 3/4 months and take certain supplements to help my sleep and stress levels. Has dramatically changed my life.
From the context of the conversation it seems like he’s irritated that people still immediately write off supplements and don’t consider them a potentially beneficial thing to take.
Simply adding supplements is not necessarily going to improve health. For example recent studies show an association with new onset atrial fibrillation(a high risk for new stroke) is associated with taking omega 3 supplements. Don’t listen to nonphysicians for supplements. Always speak to your physician before starting any new supplement.
This guy is literally one of the most well studied and cited nuerobiologist in the field. he might know what he is talking about vs you with anecdotal knowledge or a unverified tic tok at best. Lol

It helps to spread out your supplements throughout the day, then your urine gets cheaper,,,
“Get blood work done” what tests specifically? Even with insurance these tests are expensive af

Expensive urin is just a common saying, Joe is acting like he never heard it before
its his job to clarify for the masses, im sure he knows what he meant.

He needs some magnesium
Alpha Brain side effects..
Why does Joe seem so irritated?
From the context of the conversation it seems like he’s irritated that people still immediately write off supplements and don’t consider them a potentially beneficial thing to take.
Because he knows nothing compared to Andrew H. And feels inferior.
He probably takes supplements so felt offended
He thinks he knows everything
He has a company that sells the exact thing referred to as "expensive you're in". I don't think he was irritated with A Huberman per se.
Sorry Joe a simple blood test doesn’t tell you if you are magnesium deficient unless it is severe.
Duh
OK Joe we it , you're being Captain Obvious today, RELAX!!!!!
Leave ashwaganda alone!!
These two make a lot of money off supplements
jre has supps? no
Onnit
AG1? Lol. Garbage product. Huberman should educate himself better.
He’s been sponsored by them since like 2012 lol
What exactly is so garbage about ? Why make a statement like that and not back up your claim lol.
Seems you are garbage
Its just stupid expensive for what it is.
Ag1 basically an overrated multivitamin

Physicians receive their pseudo scientific knowledge of supplements, from Pharmaceutical companies. Total BS.
Links to the studies you mentioned?
A bad analysis fit for a med student.
Two con artists
He’s wrong about long term use of ashguwanda this guy doesn’t know his information
Yeah a Stanford scientist doesn’t know his information. You do though, right…
