    Creatine has been amazing for me. I leaned out while gaining weight and minimal exercise (compared to my normal). I honestly feel 'brain benefits' as well.

    Bloodwork is perfectly fine however, gaging many vitamins and minerals and other substances through bloodwork can be a matter of inaccuracy, considering the simple fact that many of these substances don't reside in the blood, but rather in the cells. So any reading of these substances via blood is simply a snapshot of what's happening in your blood at that very moment in time. Intracellular tests are much more indicative of levels but also much more inaccessible and costly. Just get everything your body needs, and we'll all be fine.

    It helps to spread out your supplements throughout the day, then your urine gets cheaper,,,

    “Get blood work done” what tests specifically? Even with insurance these tests are expensive af

      Your health is worth it. You can get a full blood test from Quest for under $150 and get results needed to show where you are low. Most insurances cover these tests as well. Our terrible system doesn't want you to solve any of this naturally but to wait and then take pills later in life. Reach out and ask if you are covered and for how many a year. I get a blood test every 3/4 months and take certain supplements to help my sleep and stress levels. Has dramatically changed my life.

    Why does Joe seem so irritated?

    • @atevohFC
      @atevohFC Před 11 měsíci +27

      From the context of the conversation it seems like he’s irritated that people still immediately write off supplements and don’t consider them a potentially beneficial thing to take.

      Because he knows nothing compared to Andrew H. And feels inferior.

      He has a company that sells the exact thing referred to as "expensive you're in". I don't think he was irritated with A Huberman per se.

    Simply adding supplements is not necessarily going to improve health. For example recent studies show an association with new onset atrial fibrillation(a high risk for new stroke) is associated with taking omega 3 supplements. Don’t listen to nonphysicians for supplements. Always speak to your physician before starting any new supplement.
