0:59 ... "a couple of faders" . Might I suggest saying "four faders" would have been more accurate. "Couple" generally means two and so saying "four" in a comparison of devices is just more accurate and useful IMHO.

I just ordered the MPK Mini Plus with the intention of running it with Logic Pro .. but I'll also be using Logic Remote on an iPad. I like the Akai family of keyboards and drum pads and can see myself moving to higher spec MPC gear if my experience with the MPK is good. A driving factor for me is my desire to play with some analog synth kit.

you should've compared the arturia keystep 37 to the akai mpk mini plus - // the arturia minilab 3 should be compared to the akai mpk mini mk3 - anyway as much i love arturia(s) - i will go for the akai mpk mini plus as personal midi keyboard (and hopefully i'll get the arturia microfreak later on, which i adore).

how well is the integration of the Akai with DAWs like Logic Pro ?

I had to teach both (the Akai and the Arturia) to understand the controls in Logic. The “out of the box” presets don’t work as desired at all.

what i not get from arturia 3 compared with version 2 is why they give less controls but also...less presets 5 instead of 8 there is a difference of 80 programmable knobs less!!!
