- Dry mouth is the feeling that there is not enough saliva in your mouth. Everyone has a dry mouth once in a while - if they are nervous, upset or under stress. But if you have a dry mouth all or most of the time, it can be uncomfortable and can lead to serious health problems.
Symptoms of dry mouth include
A sticky, dry feeling in the mouth
Trouble chewing, swallowing, tasting, or speaking
A burning feeling in the mouth
A dry feeling in the throat
Cracked lips
A dry, rough tongue
Mouth sores
An infection in the mouth
Dry mouth is not a normal part of aging. Causes include some medicines, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and nerve damage. Salivary gland diseases, Sjogren's syndrome, HIV/AIDS, and diabetes can also cause dry mouth. Treatment depends on the cause. Things you can do include sipping water, avoiding drinks with caffeine, tobacco, and alcohol, and chewing sugarless gum or sucking on sugarless hard candy.

i recently had been dealing with dry mouth for a couple of months and today i went to the dentist because the left side of my mouth was sensitive to cold sensations like ice water and what not and after examination my dentist told me i had a hairline fracture in one of my bottom teeth and he filled it today and i’ve never felt better, my dry mouth is gone and i’m feeling way healthier again! i hope this helps someone who might be dealing with the same issue that i did

The cause of dry mouth and lips is humidity in air. Sometimes when you don't take care of water level in your body and get dehydrated is also a cause of dryness.
Medication is learned at school in 10 years, not over CZcams in 10 mins
For me it's just my inner cheeks that feel weird snd they only feel good when I drink water

It could be anxiety. Your mouth can dry up when you're under asylum distress. Not sure why this happens, but it does.

I suffered from dry mouth for 4 years, doctors were not able to diagnose why, recently one of my teeth chipped and turns out this tooth had been cracked for several years which was undetected by xrays, 3d xrays,, i just had root canal and my dry mouth is gone, hopefully this helps someone who might be going through the same.

@@Rita-yw2tn I had it but mine came back. I got a big jug of water drank two or three of them all day. I went and get Biotin spray and Acts throat lozenges for dry mouth. I hate it. You got to have enough liquids in you to produce secretions. Somebody said drinking milk is good and some kind of Lozenges that start with an Lyx . Good look. I hated it.

Every night my mouth is as dry as with the air spraying at the dentist to "dry it for a moment". Its dry like the desert... and I think it started with being tired bc of burnout....
