    Fabulous upgrade, do you guys have any plans for making a LED lighting upgrade for the new Triumph Street Triple 765s?

    What is a can bus canceller?

    • @motodemic
      @motodemic  Před 2 lety

      A device that tricks the bike into thinking that there isn't a bulb error. It cancels the warnings from appearing on the dash.

    I swapped out my H4. bulb for a yellow one, same voltage.
    LED headlights are shown to dazzle oncoming traffic, so they are not an upgrade imho

    • @motodemic
      @motodemic  Před měsícem

      The dazzling you are referring to is when you add an LED bulb to the stock reflector. These are projector based systems so the lighting is going through an optic with much more control. That allows a much wider beam pattern that goes much further down the road. It is absolutely an upgrade.

    Thanks for the video. Can you please let me know what front position canbus warning canceller you recommend, if the new light doesn't come with it?

    • @motodemic
      @motodemic  Před 2 lety

      Just about any T10 warning canceller should work. Make sure the leads on the receptacle side are not making contact (best to cut and terminate).

      My trick is to RESET MILES 1 every time I refuel. My 2021 R NineT Scrambler gets roughly 120 miles per tank, fuel light turns on around 90 miles but I try to fill up at around 100 miles

    • @motodemic

    Hi! Thanks a lot for this video. I have a question. Is it possible to install a double headlight on this fantastic bike? I mean something similar to the headlights of Triumph Thunderbird Storm or HD Dyna Fat Bob? Or the space between the legs of BMW front suspension fork is too narrow for the double headlight?

    Any advice on what to do if the screw wont reattach back, after I semi tighten it and put everything in place and try to secure it (tighten with the torx driver) the clamp turns with the screw and disengages it just keeps rotating inside the headlamp instead of clamping down?

    • @motodemic
      @motodemic  Před 5 lety

      adam Barsoum sounds like the screw was loosened too far and the clips may have turned. Align the clips and don’t have the bolt so loose when reinstalling. Should do the trick!

    • @BarsoumAdam
      @BarsoumAdam Před 5 lety

      I tightened it as much as it can, after a certain amount it will not tighten any more, even when out in hand not on the motorcycle. However when I took the screw assembly (Clamps, bolt and screw) out of the headlight and held them in hand I could tighten all the way to the end of the screw. @@motodemic

    • @motodemic
      @motodemic  Před 5 lety

      adam Barsoum the screw doesn’t need to be very tight, if you go too hard it may strip the clips because they are just thin metal. If the clips are turned it won’t work no matter how much you tighten it. Check out how they are aligned in the video at 0:58

    Do these not turn on automatically with the bike? Or is that just the first time they power up?

    • @motodemic
      @motodemic  Před 5 lety

      Deviant Moto low and high beam function identical to the stock light.

    • @bill.webster
      @bill.webster Před 4 lety +2

      There's an explanation for why, despite what you see in the video, the Motodemic light requires no manual activation to illuminate.
      From the factory, only the parking light illuminates with the ignition key turned on. The low-beam illuminates automatically after you start the engine. In the video, the parking bulb is removed with the kit, so after he turns the key, nothing illuminates, which you might expect. Also, from the factory, you can turn on the low- and high-beam bulbs _without starting the engine_ by flicking the headlight trigger. That's what he does in the video around 4:10. As a result, you might think that you have to manually activate the Motodemic with the headlight trigger the first time you use it (per your question), or at every start-up, which I wondered. But I don't think that's the case. The Motodemic will illuminate automatically, just like the stock headlights, after the engine is running.
      To avoid this confusion, perhaps the installation video could show how the Motodemic operates with an engine start.

    Problem is that the LED “ upgrade” looks cool, but throws a horrible light pattern at night.

    • @motodemic
      @motodemic  Před 3 lety +1

      Not sure where you are getting your information or maybe you only have experience with lights that are not intended for road use but you couldn’t be more wrong. This is a projector based lighting system so there is 100% control of the light spread. Super wide low beam with a smooth cutoff on the horizon coupled with a high beam that throws light super far.
