Roman Catholic Church installs the second bishop for Masvingo Diocese

On Saturday the Right Reverend Bishop Raymond Tapiwa Mupandasekwa was installed at Gokomere mission and thousands attended the event.
Bishop Mupandasekwa became the second bishop of Masvingo after the diocese was established on 9 February 1999. Rt Rev Michael Dickson Bhasera was the first bishop and he headed the diocese until 19 July 2022 when Archbishop Robert Christopher Ndlovu took over on a caretaker basis.
