Man ive used outside playing in several riffs and licks in the past and I always kinda figured "sometimes the wrong notes sound good. Sometimes they dont" but its so nice to have an explanation as to WHY and HOW they sound good

Major ah-ha moment from the hybrid picking section of this video. Was playing a song the other day that had quite a bit of string skipping in it and I kept wondering if I was missing something to speed it up, that hybrid picking tip did the trick! Thank you Bernth! This was a good little present under the Christmas Baum in January! Happy New Year shredders!
Love the sections on adding the 6th and the Arpeggio shapes, I'm in those area of my (re-)learning now and these lessons along with the Sweep lessons on Patreon are where I'm spending a lot of my practice time. These little tricks are the Baum.

Practice on an acoustic guitar, too, every once in a while, to get a good tone! It sounds super boring, but a lot of what makes a great guitar tone is in your fingers, not in the instrument, the amp, or the pedals. 😉 🤘
