4:58 You're not allowed to use that roof anytime. Only in the farm phase and the revenue phase... so you couldn't use it now

"Some of the roofs have this colored background. It is allowed to play them in the according phases. So, delivieries only in revenue phase or transportation phase. And steps on the siesta track only in the farm phase or revenue phase. I do not want any movement on the track after phase III step 2. And no delivieries in the farm phase because I want people to play at the same time...
And nothing at all in the scoring phase... ;-) (except some cards...)"
10:10 You don't knock your own markers of the market, so you can place near one of your own markers without worry. From page 18 of the rules: "Now the player removes all markers of other players on market spaces that are adjacent to the newly placed marker and have a lower number"
10:25, Jen should get a point (per 1 marker kicked off the market). This should also be a consideration if you want to complete a complete a market barrow
13:21 She can't do this because she can only make 1 extra delivery... to have the ability to make more extra deliveries players have to Upgrade their farms (put cards in the right of the board) that give them the sign with the Donkey... and Now Jen only has 1 donkey so she can only make 1 extra delivery

This game was recently added to Board Game Arena(boardgamearena.com/?sp=1ejbk3) and I have to say while you made a few errors already covered below, your general enthusiasm made this video a great way to learn the basic flow of the game. Thank You Rahdo!

(13:07) Jen made 2 extra deliveries in round 1 but she can only make extra deliveries equal to the donkey markers showing on the right had side of her player board (1). So she could not have completed her wheelbarrow

Although, at 25:50, you state that you'd better buy the roof because you can't catch up if you miss a round. Actually, a player has one round more than roof spaces. Your farm can only hold five. So a player doesn't need to buy one every round. But it is nice to not have to spend six silver in the last round on a roof.

46:52 From one of your earlier notes, my understanding is that Jen will not be able to do 5 deliveries to fill up the bank since she can only pay and do 2 extra deliveries at that point as per her farm upgrades.
What he was saying there was that Jen could've used her 3 normal deliveries and then use the extra 2 deliveries she has to send the money to the bank and complete it, but since Richard did it first she decided to instead complete the Market Barrow and not use any of her extra deliveries
your being a lot more sane about your play (congrads) because it should help your viewer numbers a lot keep up the good work and thanks

Hi Paulo... any chance that the giant subtitle blocks could be split into 3 or 4 smaller ones that appear one after the other? (e.g. at 4:58) The whole video is blocked for about 30 seconds!
the subtitles on any runthrough from prior to may 2017 are automatically generated by converting paulo's old annotations into subtitles via an automated process. so you do get some unfortunately big blocks like this because they weren't originally written with this format in mind.
that said, you do have control over the size of the subtitles, so if your eyes are good, you can shrink them down smaller to take up less space. here's details: czcams.com/video/-jLFPzNM6_g/video.html :)
I'm wondering about the replayability of this game. The cards create a lot of different scenarios, sure, but it's still seems somewhat formulaic to me? On another note, another great vid!
+musicnoital04 every time you play, you're going to a different combination of paths to victory, using different tools at your disposal. certainly has as much replayability as agricola, for instance

The german Rules says that the removing on the market counts only for enemy marker and not own markers

How's the "multiplayer solitaire" factor on this game? Seems there isn't a lot of player interaction other than the market stall majorities and competition for goods?

@@rahdo That leads me to an interesting question: which games do you like that have the most interaction but the least amount of conflict? I know conflict isn't good for you two, but i figured interaction was good
