- Are you a fan of Young Sheldon and The Big Bang Theory? Have you ever wondered about some of the unanswered questions in the show? In this OSSA’m video, we'll be exploring some of the secrets and unanswered questions about Sheldon Cooper and his family.
From his strange friendship with Penny, to the origins of Soft Kitty, and even the infamous catchphrase Bazinga!, Young Sheldon provides logical explanations for many of Sheldon Cooper's habits. For example, did you ever wonder why Sheldon tolerated Penny, who had completely different interests and annoyed him frequently? It turns out that Penny reminded Sheldon of his twin sister Missy, who had similar qualities of empathy and kindness. Did you know why Sheldon always offers hot beverages to his upset friends, like in The Big Bang Theory?
It turns out that in season 3 of Young Sheldon, Sheldon picked up this habit from his father, who praised him for it. And speaking of Young Sheldon, did you know that Sheldon had a talk show before Fun with Flags? Yep, he made a similar video to persuade his parents to let him go to college. Sheldon's love for writing agreements and contracts is also explained in Young Sheldon. He started making them after creating one for Meemaw. Additionally, Young Sheldon reveals how Sheldon developed his aversion to engineers after a NASA engineer dismissed his technology and a professor disrespected him at university.
You'll discover the origin of Sheldon's favorite lullaby, Soft Kitty, which dates back to his childhood. Finally, what about Sheldon's father, George Cooper? From The Big Bang Theory, it seems like George was a terrible father, but in Young Sheldon, we see a different side to him. While he isn't the smartest man, he's a caring father who's always there for his kids. Watch this OSSA’m video now to find out about all the secrets and unanswered questions about The Big Bang Theory!

I will always wish I had a father like George Cooper... He will always be my favorite sitcom parent!! Love you, George 💗💗💗
No human is perfect when it comes to love in marriages. George kooper did his darnest to be a role model to Sheldon.
George Cooper was my favorite character in Young Sheldon, and imo he was a good Dad. I still feel sad that we all know he passes away too soon, even though he made it through the end of S6.
George was a much better parent than Mary was.
Both are batter gorge is like real father mary like real mother
Mary let her religion overtake her logic. She was a bad mother.
@@ellisjames7192 but it have region and many people are like marry
@@racevoltGamerthemecedesguyshow Bob and vagene
They both had flaws fr- but George was more willing for sacrifices to ALL of the kids, rather than Mary to just one.
I love and am a massive fan of The Big Bang Theory & Young Sheldon, they're two of my favorite comedy sitcoms of all time!!!
He was a great dad
I am 70 yrs old. I liked Big Bang characters including Mary. After watching Young Sheldon I see that George got a raw deal with Mary. He was a good dad. So many times he just wanted Mary's attention but she was cold to him. If he cheated I see how Mary could have kept George happier. Just my opinion.
1:24 in one of tbbt episodes he refers to penny as a his nanny not his sister..
Georgie’s dad was a good father
Big Sheldon & his unusual & annoying habits are a really good point! Could put a few emojis in here but won’t bother.
I feel like he also says bad things about his Dad is because he didn't want to remember the pain of his death again
No, he was NOT a bad father based on Young Sheldon.
George Cooper is pretty much two different people between TBBT and Young Sheldon. We don't know him very well from how Dr. Cooper described his Dad, but George in the Prequel is a basically good man, even if a flawed one.
Some people say that Sheldon's memories of his father became biased by time, but I don't think such a negative, maybe even stereotypical character would play well in a situation comedy so the writers smoothed a lot of his rough edges.
(It's hard to imagine George Cooper "shootin' next to a raccoon so he craps himself", for example...)
Sheldon's stories I thought his dad was kind of abusive drunk. Then I realized he never ment it that way and his stories were heart felt. His dad's drink was like average dad and he was involved and really cared.
Yes, in TBBT we heard how Dad punished Georgie because he stole the "drivin' whiskey from his pickup truck"
-the George we've come to know has a few beers in the 'fridge and stops by to have a couple with his friends.
-no "drivin' whiskey"!
The cooper family is in disarray after his father death so i guess that tell you much if he's a bad father or not 😊
From what I noticed watching the show is George made the most sacrifices for his family…. Mary got her way pretty much on everything….
The ‘hot beverage’ idea came from Dr. Sturgis.
SHELDON TOLERATED...????!!!!!
WHAT WORD YOU GONNA USE FOR US TOWARDS HIM?????????!!!
Oh please George is soo underappreciated!!! That family ruined him!
I believe Missy...is/wS smart also..not in same way as Sheldon..nonetheless
I like george
Kinda makes big bang seem mean spirited
I like young Sheldon better
How is a person so intelligent so much afraid of everything? The guy is a loony tune.
Why does he always knock 3 times
Obsessive Compulsive Behavior
Sheldon has Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
I know he ocd I just wondered why he became that way and y 3x 🙂
This actually answers two big things!! When he walked in on his father cheating (which was actually with his mother just dressed up as later seasons reveal) he came in without knocking, and he states thats why he always knocks and waits for confirmation before entering a room. So George never really cheated but this event is what caused the two main plots in the original show. Hope that helps!
they always give George senior a bad rap, how about the way his wife treated him and pushed him away.. how about she turned to others to fill a spot when she should have turned to her husband.. how about holes in the show.. they don't celebrate birthdays... and for a so challed christian home in TX.. they never celebrate Christmas,, but they sure do halloween
