my cover of a soviet/russian song made famous during the great patriotic war, wich most westerners know simply as ww2. it consisted of the barbarosa campaign waged by the reich on the soviet union and ended famously with soviet tanks rolling down the streets of berlin, and I feel it safe to say that in russia it is viewed as separate from ww2 as a whole. victory day was may 9th, so I'm late on this, but felt it appropriate to dedicate it to the victory won by those brave soldiers. I would also like to say R.I.P to fellow texan, russell texas Bently, who recently lost his life in the donbass. you made me proud to be a texan russell.

I wish I could my friend. Truth be told I have no formal music experience, teaching it or learning it. I can't read music or tabs, hell I couldn't even tell you what notes I'm playing. I'm certain there's 1 or 2 in this that I just made up as I went lol. I've always just listened to something enough that a basic song structure, albeit unorthodoxed, comes to me. I can promise you that anyone with any formal training would watch this and question what it is I'm even doing. There is a guy, Luciano classical guitar I think his channel name is, that does an amazing and very classically trained version of this that sounds perfect, exactly as it should.
