Super cool to see you guys play the course I played as a kid. They used to have massive holes so they replaces that with the regular ones and must have added the turtle shells and the mounds pretty recently

I like mini golf and I'm new to your channel, and just subscribed, you guys are always putting out good content. If I may, there is two locations you should try. First one is Congo River Golf in Clearwater, Fl 18 holes with a scavenger hunt, really cool. The other one is Coal Country Mini Golf in Fairmont, WV a really challenging course.
Hole 8 of this video should be clipped out and used as an educational tool because no amount of words or pictures could illustrate the concepts of good luck and bad luck better than this.

A place I recommend for you is Paiges Crossing in Columbia City, Indiana it’s a very good place plus it has 3 mini golf courses
I have never heard it called Punch Bug... it was always Slug Bug haha. In later years though, we've just started yelling PRIUS! and punching each other. Bugs are becoming rare, it's not good for our abusive relationships 🤣

Name the monkey Levi! How many lizards will you count while your there?
I have been to a few courses that have setups with three holes and 1 obviously being the most challenging. The rule we made on those is.
We flip or to RPS for the ability to be the first to choose a hole. The loser has to automatically take the other hole. (If more than 2 people, improvise).
You call your hole before putting and you HAVE to go for that hole no matter what.
However you can use your first shot to go after the challenging hole.
If you don't make it on your first putt, then you have to go for your called hole.
If you make the challenge hole, you get 2 off your score (so hole in zero then - 1).
The decision this causes is that if you miss the putt for the challenge hole, it could put you in a bad position for your called hole.

We called it slug bug backing the 1960's growing up. Similar to yours only we slugged (punched) someone. I was born in Memphis, I wonder what it was called in other parts of the country.

In the early 80s there were many, many more Volkswagen bugs on the road. The punch buggy game was so violent on road trips my Dad had to pull over to give my brother and I time to rest.

You can also play peddidle at night. If you see a car with one headlight you call peddidle, and punch the person beside you. If you mistake a motorcycle for a peddidle, they get to punch you twice.

I used to play punch bug with my 2 brothers when we were kids sat in the back of our mums car on long road trips up to my gran’s. You can never be too old though to play it.
I am from the St. Louis area. We call it slug bug. I use to play it with my brother all the time.

On a multi-hole hole, if you call a hole and sink the ball in a different hole, you suffer a 1 stroke penalty.
So if you'd gotten a Hole-in-One on the mound hole but called the right hole, you'd mark 2 on the score card...
Interesting some very basic holes mized in with some more complicated ones
