My Thoughts on the 15th Doctor and Ruby's Themes!

- On Thursday 12th October 2023, the themes for the Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby Sunday were unveiled to the public for the very first time, via the Doctor Who @ 60 concert which was uploaded to BBC Sounds. Here's my initial thoughts on both themes after I gave them a listen. Enjoy!

Ruby Sunday's theme is so beautiful, I can't stop listening to it. It really reminds me of Clara and Amy's theme with some of Rose's in it too. Man, I really missed Murray Gold. Honestly it's not Doctor Who without him 🤷🏻♀️
I've missed Murray Gold too! I'm thrilled he's composing for the show again.
To get an idea of how the themes would feel in the show, I did a quick edit where I put the tracks over scenes in the RTD era! They work really well! Would love it if you did something similar and uploaded it on this channel? :)
Great idea! I'll play around with the tracks myself and if I feel they work well with scenes from previous eras I'll be sure to upload the videos to my channel :)

Okay, great! Doctor Who Unscored is a super useful tool! The two clips I tried the music with were the “Laws of time are mine” speech in TWOM and the “Have a good life” speech in TPOTW! :)
