The “quantity used” column is in ounces not percentages. But thank you! 🫶🏾
This is great information and it helped me a lot but I am still a little confused on what calculation you did to get the numbers in the cost per unit column.
The cost per unit is how much you paid for the product including shipping. So if you bought Shea Butter for $35 with shipping that how much you put there.
SUGGESTION: You should remove the Castor Oil because it makes hair grow… We don’t want body hair growing.

You can add up to 4%! This also depends on how strong you would like it to be. Also check the usage rate of the fragrance oil. 😊

You are correct! However, I use Vitamin E, Mixed Tocopherols T50 because it provides a broader range of antioxidant protection rather than just depending on the naturally occurring vitamin E in the oil.

Would olive oil be a good oil to use for someone with acne prone skin on the body?
Probably not as the primary oil it’s way to thick for already clogged skin… if you want to use it keep under 5-10%. Hope this helps 😉

How do I make coco chanel mademoiselle body oil?
I would have to look more into this!! I see a few different coco Chanel fragrances oils. I would sample a few and see what is the closest to what your looking for!
What if we have a premade unscented body oil base? How
do we effectively add the fragrance oil to this?
This will definitely work with body oil base. Just calculate your fragrance based on the amount of the base you are using! Multiply the total volume of your body oil base by the desired fragrance strength percentage. For example, if you make 16 oz of oil multiple that by 4% and it will be .64 oz of fragrance oil.

Yes but I would use them as secondary oils and not primary!

Rosehip Oil and Carrot Seed Oil are great alternatives! 😊

It just depends on the fragrance you are using. If you are using 4% fragrance that would be .16 oz of 4 oz. 😊

Do we just double the ingredients if we’re making more then just one body oil?
The formula is in percentages so you can scale it to however much you want. For example, if your making 12oz of body oil and sweet almond oil is at 15% you would take 12 x .15 = 1.8 oz. Do that for all ingredients.

Yes you can! Just be careful with your percentages. To much oil can make your body butter too soft!!

I make body oil but its not smelling good ..I means the smell of oils is so strong ..which fragrance oil I should add in it??

Just try to add different fragrance I add vanilla fragrance oil in some part of oil even though it smells..Then I add cherry blossom fragrance oil it is quite okay but still smells..Should I go for any floral fragrance like Rose, jasmine or delicate lilly ??
