Fading Steps:
Trim top to desired length
- Set in guideline with 0 lever closed
- lever open set in next guideline
- 1 guard lever open next guideline
- 1.5, 2 & 3 guard blend up
- Thinning shears over comb
- Blend second guideline w/ .5 guard open to 3 qtr
- Continue blending second guideline w/ 1 guard open
- Blend first guideline w zero, lever closed
- Open lever half way, continue blending
- Continue blending with lever open
- Do any touch up work
- Use trimmers to take out bottom hair
- Use electric shaver
- Do any line up with trimmers
- Shave with straight razor

Amazing transformation this is why I love mens haircuts every canvas is different and itâs literally a transformation. I think cutting the hair on the sides when itâs a long chop like this with shears like you did instead of just chopping it off with a clipper is important because you can start to see how the hair sits and the density you will be working with.
