    This performance, a tribute to the late, great George Harrison, showcased Prince in all his flamboyant, unparalleled musical genius. And let's face it, when that little purple maestro shows up with a guitar, it's not just about playing notes; it's about feeling, style, and reminding everyone that he's on a completely different level.

    Life-long rock fan and this is the best live solo I've ever heard. Not the most difficult or fastest, but the emotion and showmanship are unmatched.

    The version of the story I heard was that Eric Clapton was asked to participate but could not attend so he suggested Prince take his place.

    Every aspect of prince performance is pure joy to watch, from his playing to his facial expressions. He outplayes Clapton by a mile and basically gives the finger to the top 100 best guitarist list he was not included on. Just the coolest cat ever.
    The lesson is great but it will take a long time to master this solo, it's time we'll spent because it has all these different techniques and licks in that it's fun and good to know. Thanks.

      There was nobody like Prince. He was legit from a different dimension.
      Any "greatest musician" list that doesn't have Prince in the Top 5 is illegitimate. A FARCE!!
      Take it a chunk at a time. Even if you just get a little bit of it, it will improve your phrasing so much.
      Don't worry about how long things take or not "mastering" the whole solo.
      The value is in the process.
      Loving the process > achieving a specific objective.

    Best solo ever, can’t convince me otherwise. Yes other solos may be “harder” but I’m talking the overall solo, the feel, the setting, the sound. Nothing tops this solo

    They had a guy who was paid to hold him up...yet some how people think prince made it up on the spot ..no way...he worked every bit out...that is obvious to me..right the way to a guy holding him up .he knew the significance of this song...and his chance to shine...prince prob had a few different versions worked out.....he was more that kind of guy in my eyes

      Not currently. Looking in to whats the best way to do that. I do have quite the collection of Guitar Pro 8 Tabs that are synced to the recording. Do you use Guitar Pro?

    • @ClarkVangilder
      @ClarkVangilder Před 5 měsíci

      @@reallyeasyguitarlessons323 well … I have Guitar Pro, but I wouldn’t say that I’ve used it in any meaningful way at this point.

      @@reallyeasyguitarlessons323 I am sure that bundling them up in a book and using Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) IS NOT the best way to do that, but it would be a relatively easy way to sell them because Amazon just handles all of the transactions and their free editor is fairly simple. If you can export a PDF, I’m pretty sure it can be bundled that way. Long range though, some sort of marketplace on your website is way better.
