I have similar LED tape lights that change colors that I got from Amazon to go around my deck. I don’t have a good way of powering them until I thought about the possibility of solar power. What kind of solar panel do you recommend I get and connect to the strip lights?

Are you able to cut to fit to length as needed and still work or your not able to trim them.

No you can't cut the cable unless you know a little electrical work.
