Omg so true! I moved here from Bucharest when I was younger and I was so embarrassed by having an extravagant lunch while all the other kids had pb&j or had to buy unhealthy options from school. I wish I wouldn’t of cared as much about what people thought!! Soooo true. I wish I knew better but you live and you learn. Totally understand what you mean! 🥰

I literally had the same problem at school! I am also persian and my mom would give me kookoo to take and everyone was always staring, I used to be so embarrassed!! But now I’m so proud to be Iranian, couldn’t have it any other way.
what I learned was that it was nothing to be embassared about... wish I knew that then.

It’s so cute watching your videos talking about immigrating because you telling your story bring me back to when me and my parents moved to the U.S. from Iran. Oh no no people! Don't ever be ashamed of where you are from! I'm Bosnian, Muslim and I love who I am and where I am from. I have never been ashamed of what I eat and my mamas food is the best! Lol. People need to learn that the world is so large and that there are so many different cultures out there. We are all beautiful in our own ways! :) Also, if you don't like who I am or what I believe in, girl bye! It’s nice to hear about what you’ve experienced. I’m black and so I’ve received a lot of racism and lowkey comments about being so, and sometimes it feels like the world is just black and white, but when I get to hear stories from others that don’t just call themselves black or white, and have something to share about their culture, I feel more connected to others if that makes sense. I figure that everyone who goes through these things may bond over it and understand each other better.

This is so cool that you tried but it is always so so so much better when it's still hot. Like literally so fresh , you have to eat in the car or car park, so if you do try to do another, make sure it's all fresy made and hot so you get it at it's best.

We’re Canadian and my mom is still nervous to tell people we’re from there. Even with my in-laws, she says we’re from Vermont. It really annoys me. We have our citizenship and she worked very hard for it. She shouldn’t be that way. 😕

Mc Donald’s is different in the US than in Australia your fries have dairy products in them so I wouldn’t even be able to eat them as I’m allergic to dairy but in Australia ours are just potatoes, salt and oil. I must say Mc Donald’s did take better when I was a child
