I Took a Metal Detecting Road-Trip and Found GOLD!!

- In this video I took a little trip up north from Monterey on Highway 1. My first stop was in Davenport just north of Santa Cruz. Followed by Miramar Beach (Halfmoon Bay. Then Pacifica where I stayed the night “stealth camping” style in my 2017 Honda Pilot. After spending the morning in Pacifica I headed back to Santa Cruz to end the trip. This video is 4 separate hunts and filmed over the course of 2 days. Next time I’ll include more of the driving and camping footage.

Nice finds. In most states your car insurance will pay most of the money to replace your windshield even with liability insurance. So check with your insurance company before paying for a new windshield.

Howdy Daniel. Great video enjoyed seeing it. Been awhile since I've been on here. Been busy trying to transition back to California from Arkansas. Finding a lot of things out here different after 16 years being away. Some good some bad. Some of my favorite places to metal detect I can't get to because of mudslides during the winter. Highways are closed and they may not be open while the construction is going on by Caltrans until August. Trying to find my own place to live because being with my brother and his wife isn't The Greatest Adventure. LOL. Watching some of my metal detecting videos has been a pretty good break for me. Keep them up. Take care man.

San Mateo county has a ban on swimming so there's few targets up there. Great find on the ring tho!

@Monterey Magnet Man yeah it's cause of some bs reason regarding bacteria in the water. Some state parks up there have signs posted up near paths leading to the beaches. Santa cruz and Monterrey are the most ideal hunting spots for locals as people still swim in those waters.

Have you ever tried detecting the rocky shore line you showed at 1:48 in this video. I have watched DirtFishMish detect areas that look similar in her videos and find old silver coins caught in the crevasses. Just curious.

I would say go with the Legend. For the price it’s much better.
