@@yannikeichhorn3619 Lurtz was invented for the movies. In the books, which the MtG set is based on, it was just a bunch of archers. Pretty sure the card Orcish Bowmasters is actually meant to be those orcs.
@@brandonkiehl269 they should've made the boromir card have 1 toughness so that the bowmasters can actually kill him
the fact that arena made you use full control to respond to the sword trigger is certainly something

Honestly I just leave full control on the entire time after the match where the game refused to let me respond to a craterhoof with my counter spell and just let it resolve instead. Keep in mind they didn't have anything that made their card uncounterable and I had more than enough perfect mana up
Watch the video again, the game paused with the ability on the stack so he can exile it from the graveyard but crim passed it himself(by pressing space bar or something). It's funny how many times he punts and blames the game.

It’s not for “children” compared to say, Pokemon. Look up the original artworks for Mindleech Ghoul, Brain Maggot, Macabre Waltz, Transgress the Mind etc. etc.
So some additional level of seriousness being expected with “what people want out of it” is understandable, winning included
But yeah, Crim in particular is still a lovable goofball

And because as Hasbro gets more of their way, it definitely becomes more for children
The point being: fun is the end all be all point of games.

Deathrite shaman was the key to modern MBD, I'd try to find a way to make that work
Deathrite gets a lot worse in formats without true fetches, Seth's video on playing 2013 jund in historic highlighted that pretty well

21:34 tbh all Titans could be in standard right now, 6 mana Is A TON in current magic and there are some absolute haymakers at 6 mana that see no play. As long as they dont print something like Valakut or Field of the Dead, PrimeTime would probably be fine.

Sure, but they put in a lot of work, grave titan kinda struggles to keep up these days.
@@Red-Tower that's the point. This shell is so brain nummingly efficient and passive you could have swapped grave titan with a Colossal Dreadmaw and achived the same results.
Yeah this list is pretty boring compared to the version that runs Underworld Dreams and Peer into the Abyss.
Usually, Crim brings all sorts of fun and budget ways to screw with the meta. Today he just indulged in his own selfish 2011 nostalgia and hey I loved it! Being a Zombie fan I like anything that makes Zombie Tokens. I can't see why people call this the worst of the titan cycle! Seems fine to me!

Crim, I know you don’t read comments but I’ve still gotta ask: why only 3 Nykthos in the devotion deck? If you draw 2 of them you can potentially use the extra as a ritual.

Wouldnt Phyrexian Arena be better than The One Ring in this deck since you have Gary and Nykthos?
I feel like I’m this meta it’s too risky. Bow masters are all over and they can basically just rip you a new ass. The ring is your choice.

Calling this mono-black devotion is a bit of a stretch. Its more like a greedy mono-black control deck so its 10x better.
