Neither would I. Which is exactly why I would never want to book this type of stateroom. I want to explore the ship, and that'll be impossible to do if I'm stuck in a nice ass room I wouldn't want to get out of đ

Nobody can talk trash about the quality of Carnivals suite cabins now, they have truly stepped their game up to compete with other higher end cruise lines
Not really. RCâs Royal Class cabins are ridiculous. Some are 2-stories. Also, their suite perks Farrrrr exceed carnivals. No waiting in line for shows, designated restaurant, and for the Star class-the Royal Genie grants every wish that you could imagine. Plus: the top suite includes: all specialty restaurants, liquor packages, private pools and hot tubs. Donât get me wrong Iâm almost platinum with carnival and always stay in the top suites, however, you get nothing. I have the Presidential reserved on Jubilee this year. Also, RC gives you double points in their suites.

I rent this room almost exclusively in the jubilee or Mardi gras and mainly because of the balcony. I can have family down and we can sit on the balcony and talk without a ton of people around. The extra space is nice. The icon has a nicer decor but to get a comparable sized room I spend over double per person.

I'll take this for a repositioning cruise. It would be a waste to have an itinerary filled with ports that I wouldn't get off at.

should I choose this over an excel aft suite?
Of course the decision is always yours but how many people are you traveling with? Is there a price difference between the two for your sailing?
You didn't show the actual entry doorway which is what I NEEDED to see as I am assuming that this is NOT an accessible doorway. It's almost perfect for us but definitely need wheelchair doorway to enter and the balcony. Are their suites that are accessible? Never sailed with Carnival but this looks great compared to what I have been hearing. Considering this cruise ship or the other one, the Celebration.
I do, film wheelchair and ADA accessible cabins when I have access to them. Likely this wouldn't work for you. They do have suites that are ADA that fit wheelchairs, but just not this one!

I know this is Carnival, so comparing it to is unfair, but I am going on the Celebrity Silhouette for two weeks in their Royal Suite, and it just doesn't compare.
Does this have a Pullman bed?
the couch turns into a sleeper, but I don't believe there is a pullman bed.
Was that only 1 bathroom?
She had to have missed a bathroom in this video. Most suites that size come with commodes
I would make sure that I have plenty of bug spray and sunscreen on because I know where I sleep one night on board in that sweet suite and that's on the balcony.
Can you imagine falling asleep to the sound of the waves?
So you can sleep 4 people inside but hold 20 on the balcony?

Imagine paying all of that money for a big room you would barely be in đ
So, why is there an outside showerhead? Is the Jacuzzi filled with seawater? That's the only reason I would need a showerhead out there. If it's freshwater, it doesn't make sense since most people will just dry off and then go to the stateroom shower. Otherwise why would you shower naked on the balcony unless you like flashing people...
I don't think Jacuzzi's can be filled with sea water but I'm no expert. Some people like to rinse their bodies off before getting in. But I doubt many are taking naked showers out there at least when the ship is in port! Or are they?! HAHA..
@@CruisetheWorldAtoZ You'd be surprised how many love to show off or even have sex where the neighbors can see them! I've heard a lot of stories of cruise ships having to deal with passengers who love to have sex in public. I don't know why they don't just open up their own sex page online instead of risking a huge fine or arrest, LOL...
Just because itâs nice to shower outdoors sometimes. Once youâre out to sea, no one else from the ship can see you at that spot on your balcony.

Outdoors on the balcony, along with an extra shower.
No bath tub no reservation !
The bathtub is outside!
Jacuzzi and extra shower is out on the balcony, kind of glassed in as well.
Next video please slow down the camera movement was much to fast
