The Panthers are this year’s President’s Trophy winners so hockey in FL isn’t failing at all thanks to the Panthers and three time SC champions Lightning. The Coyotes, however, do need to relocate to Quebec and become the Nordiques. It’s a shame that Quebec built a brand new arena but doesn’t have a professional hockey team to show for it.
Yeah, he was losing money at the Civic Center, and didn’t want to wait there; but how much did he lose waiting in Greensboro? Did North Carolina subsidize the team then?
That was a mistake moving them to a place that doesn't support hockey. My friend went to a game down there and saw more rangers fans than hurricanes fans
Have respect for the governor not bending to a greedy-ass owner looking to cover a "loss" (read: the margin of money he wouldn't have made in profit from not having his subsidy-free, taxpayer-funded arena)
