I will likely get at least 2 so I can get a second hose & duel wield the same tool. I think it's fair to have more than one as they also function as sappers. I think they can do some of the same things one might do with a Tele-viper too, such as put them in the rear seat of the Stun (once they make that) & I think the HMS is using them as a support for the missile system so that is a reasonable role too. Ultimately I'll get some more but I won't go do crazy as I am hoping for a Retro repaint with two tone colouring on it. The hands are the same as the Televiper and the pistol is the same as the BAT I'd note.
I picked one up, although it's the kind of figure I typically wouldn't preorder. Knowing how a lot of folks army build any Cobra troop, I didn't want to risk not being able to get one for months, or having to pay an inflated price for one. I think it's a cool figure. I always liked the vintage Techno-Viper, and this one does an excellent job recreating the classic design.

I had 1 as a kid. Loved the figure and all his accessories. So I got myself 2 of these to compliment my forces. Also got the red/black one coming with the rocket launcher.

I can't really tell, but it looks like an entirely new mold of body parts. Can't really tell if anything is reused? I think the HMS was supposed to come out in December/ January around the same time as the hiss and the fire team and got delayed behind the scenes for some reason …..it’s like #110 or something by the time is comes out we will be well past that …..then again the vamp is #112 so I duno what the hell is going on but it definitely seems like the HMS was delayed at least a month or two
good short review bro ok, so you make 2 videos at the same time, that explains it now I once did pic stories with Lego, I had to keep notes at first to establish my structure as, sometimes, I was too excited or distracted and forgot essentials that made my channel product unstable and uneven, but I was always checking my posts a few times to see if I could improve something if I felt satisfied, how I could make it more inviting and could offer something unique and that made my list - note to set my standard and, the comments rarely helped ; it s nice! beautiful! ha, ha, funny! just saying techno vipers he s better than the og, especially the head sculpt, the art on card was different than the fig now, it s exactly the same and much better looking I want 2 I have no Cobra vehicle, but no tele vipers either, so I need some form of base maintenance guys at least 1 - Cobra base storage bay dio 1 - Cobra ancient ruins fighting arena [MASS story Duke vs barbarian inspired] I can t wait someone explains their weapons though, it s quite perplexing... army building reg troopers, vipers, bats, I d go for 10 each but most others like eels, snow serpents, ect, I m going for 2 each mostly unless my finances improve, I might not make - have place for arctic - sea - water scenes I m tempted to pick Christmas Chewbaca for an abominable snow man, D and he can grab axes, ect so I invest my money mostly for ground small 'battle zones' scenes anyways, it s a natural for this scale, it s meant for closer views of action, lots of details vehicles act more as complementary deco, not the main thing like the 80s the backpack is def much better with colour hologram, and other details make him very cool ahhh, a tele viper comparison! I wanted to see that, 2 secs, gone! lets see an officer, trooper, repairing a bat, talking with mindbender, punching Destro in the face, D come on bro! you can do anything, do you have jurassic park s toilet bowl? lol I got ol Hammond! ; I spared no expenses! he s a good customer of my brothel dio, D everyday my scenes make me smile and get me in a good mood he looks fab with his weapon, it better be powerful, otherwise... ; got some dirt, and it don t look good, who you re gonna call? ; dustbusters!!! so now you know... good show bro

I would be very surprised if they reverse the backpack with a Retro version mind.. if they can't even be bothered to give the Eel the correct spear gun.
My guess is that the plan was to have 2 of the hoses, and they had to cost out one of them. While not giving any specific examples, Lenny mentioned in an interview today with Adventures in Collecting that costing out accessories is something that happens a good bit, as they start their plans with as much stuff as the can and then pare it down to what is actually cost-permissive.
